CDC Data Supports Teen Abstinence!

66511153-Teens-Stay-Healthy-705x522The CDC’s 2018 YRBS (Youth Risk Behavior Survey) Report is out and the data strongly supports students abstaining from all sexual risks.

It also shows that high school students who abstain from all sexual contact (this means oral, anal, and vaginal sex) are healthier than sexually active teens.

WOW! Did you hear any of this in the news?

Not only has the rate of teen sexual activity continued to decrease in the U.S., students who abstain from sex are also more likely to abstain from other risk behaviors leading to violence, suicide, tobacco use, alcohol and other drugs. Plus, they have better nutritional habits than sexually active teens, which protects them from life-long consequences of obesity.

“Students who had no sexual contact have a much lower prevalence of most health-risk behaviors compared with students who had sexual contact with only the opposite sex and students who had sexual contact with only the same sex or with both sexes. For example, the prevalence of all five injury related risk behaviors, all 13 violence-related risk behaviors, all five suicide-related risk behaviors, all 19 tobacco use-related risk behaviors, all 19 risk behaviors related to alcohol and other drug use, and six of the 11 dietary risk behaviors was higher among students who had sexual contact with only the opposite sex and students who had sexual contact with only the same sex or with both sexes than students who had no sexual contact.”(Pg. 108)

This amazing news was NOT reported by the main stream media because it doesn’t fit the Sexual Rights narrative. Rather, SIECUS, a spinoff of Planned Parenthood, reported on  “severe health disparities among lesbian, gay, and bisexual (LGB) youth and youth of color.”

Of course, there are ‘severe health disparities!’ But, the so-called ‘disparities’ occur between those abstaining and those having sex! It only proves that teaching adolescents and teens that sex is normal, good, and expected is very dangerous to their health.

SIECUS, CDC DASH (Division of Adolescent and School Health), and many others are responsible for creating these ‘severe health disparities!’ For more than 30 years, they have colluded to normalize high risk sexual behaviors in public schools and community agencies through harmful CSE and influencing public policy and laws.

New research by the Institute for Research and Evaluation reveals that CSE has been a dismal failure at protecting the sexual health of youth. Some CSE programs actually harm children. In addition, many of the CSE programs researched had no impact on condom use, which lines up with the CDC YRBS data showing that condom use among sexually active teens is at an all-time-low. No wonder STDs rates are soaring in almost every state.

Smart teens are winning! The majority of teens ARE making wise choices and more parents are getting outraged about the obscene and harmful sex ed in their schools.

Join the fight to protect the health and innocence of children!

Take a look at the harmful elements found in Rights, Respect, and Responsibility (3Rs), a popular CSE program that is sweeping the U.S.

SC: Planned Parenthood Admissions

Featured

Lee Bright PP South Atlantic2 ppYesterday, Planned Parenthood South Atlantic sent this email out to their South Carolina network bragging about working for seven years with public health organizations to pass legislation mandating the HPV vaccine. Planned Parenthood is angry at Sen. Lee Bright for holding up the vote on the vaccine and they are demanding action.

Indeed, the Planned Parenthood Network (includes Sexual Rights advocates) has been very involved for decades in such collaborations to control public health policies in South Carolina.

The Planned Parenthood Network has worked with federal and state agencies, nonprofits, and foundations that advocate for Sexual Rights to thwart state law. They also lobby SC legislators to mandate “safe sex-only” education in the schools and to censor optimal public health messages regarding the benefits of marriage and delaying sex until marriage, as state law requires.

So, in the spirit of transparency…we have ten questions:

  1. Who are these “public health organizations?”
  2. Were these meetings between public and private agencies opened to the public, as the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requires?
  3. Are the meetings FOIA-able, so that we can know which state agencies and employees participated? Were they taped?
  4. If state agency employees were involved, did they meet on the taxpayers dime?
  5. Do these public health organizations include the State Alliance for Adolescent Sexual Health (SAASH), housed at SC DHEC?
  6. Is Maternal and Child Health at U.S. Health and Human Services involved?
  7. What about Advocates for Youth, the lead author of the so-called and unapproved National Sexuality Education Standards? (Common Core for Sex Ed)
  8. Was SIECUS (Sexuality Information Education Council of the U.S.) involved? SIECUS is a spin-off of Planned Parenthood in charge of pushing Sexuality Education programs and curricula to school districts.
    1. Coincidentally, seven years ago SIECUS bragged in their 2009 Annual Report (page 23) about working “with colleagues and state government officials to change the state Board of Education’s policies on sex education.
    2. “Then they lied by saying…”As a result of this work, middle schools throughout the state are now required to deliver some form of sex education that addresses contraception. To be sure, this is far from perfect, but gradualism is how change comes on these issues in the state and we are working consistently and strategically to ensure that there is forward movement.” The lie is that middle schools are not required to teach contraception, but only at the approval of the local school board. This is an intimidation tactic used to strong arm school districts into teaching minors condoms-only sex ed!
  9. Did the meetings involve the SC Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, a nonprofit that trains public school teachers exclusively in Planned Parenthood/SIECUS sex programs with federal and state funding? None of their programs teach about marriage or the skills to abstain from sexual activity.
  10. Is New Morning Foundation and their social media component TellThemSC.org included as players? They will be bombard legislators next week (3.16.16) with propaganda to promote their Sexual Rights Agenda in the schools.

We appreciate Planned Parenthood’s transparency. Now everyone knows that they are behind the vicious attacks on Sen. Lee Bright and anyone else that believes in teaching students medically accurate information about HPV. Information that HPV is not caught like the common cold. That HPV is an STD spread skin-to-skin outside the protection of a condom. And, that abstaining from all sexual activity is the very best way to avoid all STDs. Tell the entire truth about what HPV is, how it is spread, and all of consequences.

Students deserve to know the medically accurate facts.

Sexual Rights Agenda: Confuse the Masses

Featured

by Mary McLellan and Robert Swain

Sexual Rights Advocates claim victory for the lowest teen birth rates in decades. But, why are the rates at an all-time low? Is it really due to “safe sex” education in the schools and the push to get all girls on birth control?

Or, are teens making better decisions and refusing to engage in sex, so that they can focus on their future?

It is laughable that Sexual Rights Advocates claim responsibility for the majority of teens delaying sex! Their programs do not teach Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) skills to abstain from sex. In fact, most of their sex programs teach Sexual Risk Reduction (SRR) skills to “avoid unprotected sex” and “to enjoy the pleasures of “safe sex.”

How can teens focus on their future in such a sexually charged climate?

The goal of the Sexual Rights Agenda is to confuse the uninformed public. They do this by masking the content of most sex programs, keeping the media hype going, and demanding that hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars continue to flow in their direction.

It is true that teen pregnancy and birth rates are at their lowest in decades. Yet, the Sex Cartels demand that “more taxpayer money is needed, state laws must be changed, and more must be done, because one unplanned pregnancy is just too many.”

This false narrative convinces school districts and legislators that only SRR (“safe sex”) programs will work, because “all teens will have sex.” These programs are pushed by the Sex Cartels, including Planned Parenthood, SIECUS, LGBTQ, Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, Advocates for Youth, and the CDC.

However, if one really looks at the data a different narrative emerges. In South Carolina (SC), SRR advocates receive millions in taxpayer dollars annually to expand into more and more schools. And, they claim that they are responsible for the dramatic 68% decrease in pregnancy rates for teens (15-17) and 80% decrease for adolescents (10-14). (SC DHEC 2015)

This decline is not a phenomenon, but consistent with national trends. Plus, the CDC’s YRBS (Youth Risk Behavior Survey) for SC reveals that for almost 20-years, most sexually experienced teens have NOT used contraception. They are not practicing “safe-sex.” There has been a:

  •  26% increase (2005-2013) in teens who did not use a condom during last sexual intercourse.
  • 83% of girls did not use birth control pills to prevent pregnancy before last sexual intercourse. (UNCHANGED since 1995)
  • 97% of girls did not use an IUD before last sexual intercourse.

The SC YRBS also reveals that only 32% of high school teens were sexually active at the time of the survey. In addition, there was a:

  • 28% decrease in high school teens who have EVER had sex. (1995-2013)
  • 49% decrease in 9th grade teens who have EVER had sex. (1995-2013)
  • 30% decrease in high school teens who are sexually active. (1995-2013)

In other words, over the past 18 years:

  • Sexually active SC high school teens have not been practicing “safe-sex.” (SRR education has failed in SC for decades and  they don’t want you to know it!)
  • The majority of SC high school teens were not having sex and/or have NEVER had sex!
  • The percentage of sexually experienced high school teens has decreased steadily since 1995.

Most SC students are not duped by the “all teens are having sex, so you better protect yourself” mantras that are chanted in sex classes. Rather, smart teens embrace the SRA (abstinence) messages promoted by their parents, churches, and agencies that teach Evidence-based Abstinence Education.

Teens will live up to high standards! So, we should set high standards for them and for ourselves.

Such progress bodes well for SC, but only if the current trend continues. SRA (abstinence) should be taught as a separate component for all school age children. To omit this vital perspective from schools is censorship.

“Safe Sex” education sets our kids up for failure and it defeats the purpose of quality education.

Planned Parenthood Has Sex Ed Teachers?

Who knewWhy are parents protesting tonight at a California school board meeting about Planned Parenthood staff teaching Sex Ed to their children?

East Bay school district is under fire from parents after they learned that Planned Parenthood educators are actually teaching sex ed to their children. Another article revealed that this is nothing new and that the Superintendent really doesn’t care. Opt out!:

“The superintendent says Planned Parenthood has been a consultant for comprehensive sex ed for 10 years. Parents have the right to opt out of the course and this fall only one student did.”

Where were these parents 10 years ago when Comprehensive Sex Ed got a foothold in their school district?

In some states, taxpayer funded sex programs have been in the schools for over 20 years, taught by public school teachers who have been trained by the Planned Parenthood Sex Networks.

Planned Parenthood/SIECUS and their National Sexuality Standards have been operating under the radar for decades, masquerading as “comprehensive sex ed” and teaching explicit “safe sex” and anti-marriage programs.

This is the Progressives’ MO. Get established through policies, regulations, and precedent. Then change the state laws, mandating only Planned Parenthood Sex Programs in all school districts. This allows school districts to claim that “this is the way we’ve done it for 10 years!” Nothing new here!

For now, parents can opt out, but few do. After all, these are the same parents who 10-20 years ago were probably being taught how to have “safe sex.” They have grown up never knowing a day without Planned Parenthood, Family Planning, abortion, sexual rights and political correctness. They have been brainwashed into thinking the schools know best and that they are too stupid to know what is best for their own child.

So, what’s the problem?  After 10 years under the radar, Planned Parenthood is even more emboldened. They are no longer hiding behind Health or PE teachers in school districts, Advocates for Youth, the Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy or other “non-profits” in the Planned Parenthood Sex Networks. They are loud and proud.

Those of us in the Healthy Family Formation Coalition have been sounding the alarm about these so-called “safe sex” programs since they started in the early 90’s. Now, many school districts are saturated with them. Planned Parenthood Sex Ed is part of their infrastructure, and the entire Network needs to be defunded and dismantled. “Opt In” policies need to be considered to require parents to approve the sex ed being taught to their child.

Yes, we tried to warn you. Yes, you can opt your child out. Few parents do.

Maybe in another 10 years?
