Condom Failure in South Carolina

Health experts in South Carolina (SC) are finally showing concern about the high rates of STDs/HIV among teens. According to GoUpstate.com,

In one-year, the rate of HIV/AIDS jumped 11% among 15-19 year olds.

And, SC ranks in the top ten states for chlamydia, gonorrhea, and HIV/AIDS.

This data is surprising since HIV/AIDS rates are generally reported as declining. What are we to think?

Regardless of its validity, you should know that the “health experts” mentioned in this article are members of the National Coalition to Support Sexuality Education, a coalition run by SIECUS, which is a spin-off of Planned Parenthood. They are in league with over three hundred national Sexperts who promote Sexual Rights in our schools under the guise of Comprehensive Sexuality Education. (CSE).

Teaching students to delay sex until their brains are mature and they are self-sufficient adults is the best sexual health message, regardless of their sexual history or sexual orientation. However, that is not a Sexpert’s primary goal. Delaying sex just does not fit the Sexual Rights narrative, nor the sex industries’ lucrative business model. They want to get kids hooked on sex at an early age so that they become lifelong customers.

Sexual Rights advocates cannot admit that CSE or ‘contraception-only sex ed’ fails to protect our children from the consequences of sex, mainly STDs/HIV. Rather, they shift the blame to a lack of “access to health care services and affordability of health care services.” Really? Using vulnerable minors to politicize the STD/HIV crisis in SC is absolutely shameless. And for what? More condom distribution centers!

The problem is not health services; it is CSE in our schools. CSE is neither comprehensive nor educational. It is Sexual Rights indoctrination that normalizes and promotes sexual activity for minors. Students are legal minors and cannot consent to sex, so why are adults teaching them how to have sex?

Besides, many SC high school students are not even using condoms. GoUpstate.com reports that, “Only 59 percent of [sexually active] high school students report (2015) using a condom the last time they had sex.” This data does not even factor whether the condoms were used correctly or consistently.

If 59 percent were the only relative data point, this might sounds OK. But, the report neglects to inform us that condom use in SC peaked in 2005 at 67 percent and it has been in decline ever since! Most of this decline occurred during the Obama years when sexually explicit, pornographic, CSE programs began receiving more than 90 percent of all federal sex ed funding. Teaching kids the pleasures of sex and expecting them to care about their future health is ludicrous.

And, for those 41 percent that used a condom the last time they had sex, condoms are not protective enough. Exaggerating condom effectiveness or allowing students to believe that condoms will protect them from STDs is deceitful. Such medically inaccurate information gives students false assurance that they are protected and it encourages them to take more risks.

In addition to failed condom education, we reported last fall that a U.S. Health and Human Services replication study of  “evidence-based” CSE programs reveals that most were ineffective. The full review is in the American Journal of Public Health (October 2016). One of their conclusions was,

“While several of the evaluations did show positive outcomes, most of the programs had small or insignificant impacts on adolescent behavior.”

Valerie Huber, Founder/CEO of WeAscend.org, a national Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) policy organization, nailed it in her summary of the findings:

“Compared with their peers who were in the program, teens in some TPP-funded projects were more likely to begin having sex, more likely to engage in oral sex, and more likely to get pregnant. In fact, more than 80% of students in these programs fared either worse or no better than their peers who were not in the program.”

Those ignoring the devastating results of CSE programs are not competent to teach our children. To date, none of the failed CSE programs have been pulled from SC schools. Parents and taxpayers must demand that they be removed and replaced with proven-effective Sexual Risk Avoidance programs.

If CSE programs were seat belts, they would have been recalled years ago!

The Silent Link to Human Sex Trafficking

Featured

sex-trafficking-wordcloudComprehensive Sex Education (CSE) has indoctrinated generations in the Sexual Rights Agenda. We have been duped by Sexual Rights/CSE propaganda  that convinces us that it is our only hope to decrease teen pregnancies, STDs, sexual abuse, and drop out rates.

Most federally funded CSE programs have been a sham since the 90’s, claiming to be “evidence-based” and “medically accurate.” However, a federal report released in July 2016 reveals that many of these popular Teen Pregnancy Prevention Programs (TPP) failed to replicate their “initial sterling” results. Valerie Huber, CEO/President of Ascend, a national Sexual Risk Avoidance organization, writes:

“After nearly a billion dollars, more than 80% of students in these “comprehensive” programs fared either worse or no better than their peers who were not in the program. Teens in some TPP-funded projects were even more likely to begin having sex, more likely to engage in oral sex, and more likely to get pregnant than their peers who weren’t in the classes.”

Watch The War on Children, The Comprehensive Sexuality Education Agenda

It is not surprising then to read that under the Obama Administration, human/child sex trafficking in the U.S. has exploded. For almost 8 years, the Obama Administration has fully funded the Sexual Rights Agenda either directly or indirectly with taxpayer dollars. Almost every federal agency, including Health and Human Services, the Department of Education, and the Department of Justice, has either promoted the Sexual Rights Agenda or turned a blind eye to it’s consequences. Except for the FBI.

The FBI is the primary federal agency that has diligently pursued human sex trafficking in the U.S. In 2015, pedophilia and human sex trafficking had reached an almost epidemic level as reported by the FBI’s Criminal Investigative Division. According to Assistant Director Joseph Campbell:

“”The level of pedophilia is just unprecedented right now. We have so many cases constantly of individuals in all walks of life, from the very wealthy … to all other levels engaged in child pornography, child exploitation … it just seems to be almost an at epidemic level.”

The vast majority of the children trafficked in the U.S. are not Mexican or Central American, but are American.”

The Department of Justice made the 2016 Dirty Dozen list as a Top Facilitators of Sexual Exploitation by the National Center on Sexual Exploitation, which states,

“From the time Obama took office in 2008, no enforcement actions against illegal obscenity have been initiated by DOJ, and in 2011 former Attorney General Eric Holder dismantled the Obscenity Prosecution Task Force.”

Still, these obscenity crimes only deal with adults, not minors. Today’s adults that engage in sexual exploitation were themselves minors just a few years ago!

What did they learn about sexual lifestyles and where did they learn it?

Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE) is the silent link that fuels the sexual exploitation of children, minors, women, men, and families. Through CSE indoctrination in our schools, children as young as Kindergarten are convinced that they have “rights” to sexual pleasure. CSE programs, under the guise of “anti-bullying,” “teen pregnancy and STD prevention,” “sex abuse prevention,” and now “equality” programs, often include sexually graphic content and/or pornography, which stimulates neurological/brain development towards sexual excitement.

Teachers trained in many CSE programs have the boundaries blurred between them and their students. They are trained to speak sexual and/or pornographic content to minors. Much of the content would get any of us locked up for sexual exploitation, yet it is mandated in many schools.

By normalizing sexual activity among and with children, they are setup for sexual exploitation. They expect to be approached for sexual favors and think nothing of exploring their sexuality before they can handle it. Our children are groomed and programed to look for sex in all of the worst places!

If we want to protect our children from sexual exploitation, pornographic CSE must be eliminated in our schools and communities. As legal minors, they deserve the legal protection promised them, whether they want it or not. That’s why they are minors!

Ignoring CSE’s link to sex trafficking just compounds the corruption and misery for future generations.

The Sexual Rights Cash Cow

cow-cashHave you ever felt queasy about those sex programs in your child’s school or health clinic? Maybe you feel that your child is too young to know about oral, anal, and vaginal sex, and how lube can make sex more fun…but you say nothing.

Besides, all of the other parents are letting strangers teach their children about sex, so why shouldn’t you?

Or, maybe you caved, because Educrats and Sexperts have convinced you that they know better than you what is best for your child?

Your gut is right and you should have trusted it! Some of the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Programs promoted and funded with your tax dollars were re-evaluated over the past five years and FAILED miserably. Buried in the HHS website is the evidence that these programs fared no better than general health classes at reducing teen sex or increasing condom use. In fact, some of the programs increased teen sex and pregnancies!

Thanks to Ascend CEO Valerie Huber, these evaluations released in July 2016 are exposed in this press release. Ascend is the only credentialing organization in the U.S. that trains professionals in Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA), a public health model for optimal ascend-infographic-on-csesexual health. You can read more in Obama’s promiscuous sex-ed program a failure. Also, click on the Infographic (right) for a quick look or here for a more detailed summary of the findings.

Parents must find out if these failed Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) programs are still in their schools and community organizations: Carrera Program (Children’s Aid Society), Cuidate, It’s Your Game: Keep It Real, PHAT! Abstinence-Only Intervention (Promoting Health Among Teens), Reducing the Risk, Safer Sex, Seventeen Days, Teen Outreach Program, and BART (Becoming A Responsible Teen).

We need a massive recall of these programs!

Don’t be duped by so-called “adaptations” of old or failed programs. Adaptations are simply a slick move by HHS to revamp the same failed sex programs without evaluating them. If the core is rotten, the entire product is disgusting!

While, most of the HHS Teen Pregnancy Prevention Programs are a scam, there is one exception. Heritage Keepers® Abstinence Education is the only authentic Sexual Risk Avoidance program that has been proven effective at increasing abstinence among teens. Heritage Keepers® promotes abstinence-outside-of-marriage. After one year, Heritage Keepers® students initiated sexual activity at a rate that is 67% lower than students not receiving the program.

Today, we have generations of indoctrinated millennials and those younger who think that aberrant sexual lifestyles are the norm. They have been taught that everyone, regardless of age, has the right to sex, as long as they have consent.

Really? Sexual predators groom their victims to consent to sex.

American parents must wake up. You have been used and abused by the Sexual Rights Agenda. You are their Cash Cow. They have taken your money, your children, and your marriages.

Now, they want to take away your future.

Sexual Rights Agenda: Activism or Terrorism?

Featured

hedonism-word-cloudThose behind the Sexual Rights Agenda do not live by the Golden Rule. This is evidenced by their aggressive take-over of schools, universities, government agencies, and even other nations. Militant Sexual Rights operatives, including the Obama administration and the UN, are demanding their way or else… they will make our lives a living hell.

There is no middle ground as LGBTQ/Planned Parenthood/Comprehensive Sex Ed is forced on ALL public school children. Parental Rights do not matter either, as proven repeatedly by hostile School Districts and government bureaucrats.

If it’s any consolation, many in the LGBTQ camp

are also sick and tired of the US propaganda to promote the Sexual Rights Agenda!

Read “Even Political Left Frustrated with US Focus on Everything Homosexual!”

Vile sexually explicit information is forced on legal minors, who deserve to be protected by law, not violated. Such programs within Comprehensive Sex Ed promote Child Porn and Child Sexual Abuse, which BTW are illegal in the US. However, laws are not consistently enforced. This is one reason why the Department of Justice made the 2016 Dirty Dozen List of Leading Facilitators of Sexual Exploitation.

Judith Reisman has dedicated her life to exposing the fraudulent research of Alfred Kinsey. Watch Reisman lecturing on CSPAN in 2012 about Kinsey and his legacy of Child Porn. Pornographic sex acts are taught in some Comprehensive Sex Ed programs, which are funded with our tax dollars!

Today’s sex educators (willing or not) are trained to be child molesters within their schools.  According to the FBI, child molesters:

  • Demonstrate sex acts to children. Offenders commonly use pornography to teach or give instructions to naïve children about how to masturbate, perform oral sex and/or engage in sexual intercourse.

  • Lower the sexual inhibitions of children. Some children naturally fear sexual activities. Some offenders show pictures of other children engaging in sexual activities to overcome these fears, indicating to their intended victims that it is all right to have sex with an adult because lots of other boys and girls do the same thing.

  • Desensitize children to sex. Offenders commonly show child pornography to their intended victims to expose them to sexual acts before they are naturally curious about such activities.

  • Sexually arouse children. Offenders commonly use pornographic images of other children to arouse victims, particularly those in adolescence.

If the FBI can spot child molesters, why not teachers and those who train them? Why is obscenity allowed in our schools, when registered sex offenders cannot go near a school? Are schools protected from obscenity laws? If any of us spoke this way to a neighbors’ child or in the work place, we would arrested. What kind of person wants to teach this information to children?

The Sexual Rights Agenda is based solely on ideology – not science or medically accurate information. Teaching minors to experiment with sex and have sex with anyone – at any time – is exploitation. And, teaching them that they can or should change their gender is beyond abhorrent to most of us. There is plenty of scientific/medical evidence and experience that this type of indoctrination is false and dangerous to the public health of our nation. Many victims who decided to transition to the opposite gender have testified that they regret doing so. And, some have transitioned back to their birth gender with messed up lives and missing body parts.

Parents (and taxpayers), we can no longer hide or be neutral on these sexual issues. Many of us have tried to live under the radar and go-along-to-get-along for decades. There is no such thing as neutrality or accommodating the Militant Sexual Rights Agenda., especially for people of faith.

Read Rod Dreher’s excellent article, We Have Been Warned and listen to On paying a price for your beliefs – The Benedict Option from the American Defense Fund/Freedom Matters.

If your state still allows parents to opt-out of sex ed, it does not mean that their child’s friends won’t tell or text them what they learned in sex class. Plus, many sex programs are designed to cross curricula or influence the entire student body and school administration.

Read “At the Intersection of Sex Ed and English” and “Using YA lit for sex-ed: More than birds and bees.”

Many of us have sacrificed financially to enroll our kids in private or religious schools. Do you know what is taught about sex and marriage in those schools?  Who are their peers? Parents have told us that their 5 and 6 year old children learned about oral sex at sleep overs. Private or religious schools are not always exempt from governmental control or mandates, either.

Many parents choose to home school their children. And, many home schooled kids are experts on computers where they easily access porn. What about youth groups and other home schooled peers? We know of youth who were home schooled their entire lives, yet were exploited and/or introduced to porn at their churches, or through sports, Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts. Remember that home school parents also pay taxes that support the Sexual Right Agenda.

None of us can hide from the Sexual Rights Gestapo. The state religion is Hedonism and subjects must bow down or else. We must know what we believe and why we believe it. It is up to decent law abiding parents and taxpayers with deep faith convictions to stand up for what they believe.

Our kids are watching!

Public Health Crisis: Porn in Sex Ed

Featured

Mary S. McLellan, M.S., SRAS ~ ExposeSexEdNow.com

endsexualexploitation cycle diagramUtah legislators have connected the dots between porn in our culture and porn content in many taxpayer funded Comprehensive Sex Ed programs (CSE). This week, they had the audacity to pass a resolution (75-0) that pornography is a public health crisis. The resolution is ready for the Governor to sign. Earlier in the session the legislature defeated a bill to expand Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE). Someone is seeing the connections, at least in Utah!

What is porn? There are more sophisticated legal definitions, but porn is essentially any sexually stimulating visual, audible, or written content that promotes sex-without-boundaries. In too many CSE curricula, sex-without-boundaries is taught as normal and expected, while the healthiest boundaries for sexual activity are censored. Boundaries such as abstaining from all sexual activity outside of marriage, regardless of sexual orientation, are not mentioned.

When couples are bonded to each other for life, as in a healthy marriage, there is the expectation of goodwill towards each other and any children they may raise together.

ExposeSexEdNow exposes CSE that encourages students to explore their sexuality regardless of health risks or life-long consequences. Even for minors, who are legally incapable of consenting to sex, so-called “consent” is taught as the only requirement for sexual activity. Some CSE contains “how-to sex lessons” so that students as young as 11 years old can “have pleasurable and safe sexual experiences.” Under the guise of pregnancy and STD prevention some CSE teach the “skills” to make condoms, dental dams, and lots of lube “fun and pleasurable.”

Some CSE curricula introduce and/or reinforce sexual activity as healthy behavior. Yet, adolescent brain research clearly shows that sexually stimulating information during adolescence and teen years is neurologically dangerous and can lead to porn addiction.

The average age for porn addiction in both boys and girls is 12 years old!

Pornography is dangerous both in its use and abuse of women and children. Alfred Kinsey used porn sex to abuse babies, toddlers and children for so-called “scientific research.” Kinsey’s fraudulent “research” has been debunked, but continues to produce an industry of “credentialed” SexPerts, who are hell bent on mandating their hedonistic ideology throughout our government, schools and churches.

Any means of sexual exploitation should be prosecuted by our legal systems, but it is not. The 2016 Dirty Dozen list of top contributors of porn reveals rampant disregard for our children.

  • The US Department of Justice “refuses to enforce existing federal obscenity laws!”
    • “From the time Obama took office in 2008, no enforcement actions against illegal obscenity have been initiated by DOJ, and in 2011 former Attorney General Eric Holder dismantled the Obscenity Prosecution Task Force.”
    • Peddlers of obscenity and porn have had a green light from the feds for over 7 years! Add to that the millions of dollars funded to CSE and it is no wonder that the Sexual Rights Agenda is targeting our children at warp speed.
    • Nearly all states exempt primary and secondary schools from Obscenity Laws. That’s right! Most primary and secondary schools cannot get into legal trouble for obscenity that would land any of us in jail.
  • Another top contributor of porn is the American Library Association.
    • The ALA steadfastly refuses to put filters on computers to prevent clients from viewing porn, even child porn. Aren’t public libraries supported with our tax money?
    • Plus, many state schools and their libraries have weak, unclear, or non-existent filtering statutes for obscenity. What about computers and iPads in your child’s school?
    • Beware letting your kids roam free in the library! Not only are libraries safe havens for pedophiles, but many libraries have sexuality resources from organizations supportive of CSE in the pre-teen and teen sections of the library.
    • Yet, these same libraries censor information about the benefits of marriage or delaying sexual activity until marriage.

Our pornified culture has crippled America. Chaotic family formation, disease, and social misery fill our streets, homes, and public school systems. It is intentional, leading generations into lives of poverty. In 2011, Greg Pfundstein’s Sex Ed Mandates and Children’s Innocence cited Reducing the Risks, a popular CSE curricula used in middle and high schools as based on ideology, not medically accurate information.

Pornography should be addressed as a public health crisis much like tobacco, alcohol and drugs. A public health approach requires a multifaceted campaign to eliminate the sources and behaviors (risks) related to porn, which in turn will greatly reduce the availability and consequences. Fifty-years ago, few thought that smoking could be drastically reduced, but is has been.

Parents, and most reasonable adults, know in their gut that something is terribly wrong. We daily hear of sexual exploitation, porn, and sexual rights demands. When the safety of our children is openly jeopardized, what can good parents do? We cannot sit still while our children are indoctrinated to think that sexual activities are normal fun entertainment. We cannot let them be groomed for “consensual sex.”

More states should follow Utah’s example and resolve to call pornography a public health crisis. We must expose and prosecute sexual exploitation, wherever it is.

Sexual Rights Agenda: Confuse the Masses

Featured

by Mary McLellan and Robert Swain

Sexual Rights Advocates claim victory for the lowest teen birth rates in decades. But, why are the rates at an all-time low? Is it really due to “safe sex” education in the schools and the push to get all girls on birth control?

Or, are teens making better decisions and refusing to engage in sex, so that they can focus on their future?

It is laughable that Sexual Rights Advocates claim responsibility for the majority of teens delaying sex! Their programs do not teach Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) skills to abstain from sex. In fact, most of their sex programs teach Sexual Risk Reduction (SRR) skills to “avoid unprotected sex” and “to enjoy the pleasures of “safe sex.”

How can teens focus on their future in such a sexually charged climate?

The goal of the Sexual Rights Agenda is to confuse the uninformed public. They do this by masking the content of most sex programs, keeping the media hype going, and demanding that hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars continue to flow in their direction.

It is true that teen pregnancy and birth rates are at their lowest in decades. Yet, the Sex Cartels demand that “more taxpayer money is needed, state laws must be changed, and more must be done, because one unplanned pregnancy is just too many.”

This false narrative convinces school districts and legislators that only SRR (“safe sex”) programs will work, because “all teens will have sex.” These programs are pushed by the Sex Cartels, including Planned Parenthood, SIECUS, LGBTQ, Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, Advocates for Youth, and the CDC.

However, if one really looks at the data a different narrative emerges. In South Carolina (SC), SRR advocates receive millions in taxpayer dollars annually to expand into more and more schools. And, they claim that they are responsible for the dramatic 68% decrease in pregnancy rates for teens (15-17) and 80% decrease for adolescents (10-14). (SC DHEC 2015)

This decline is not a phenomenon, but consistent with national trends. Plus, the CDC’s YRBS (Youth Risk Behavior Survey) for SC reveals that for almost 20-years, most sexually experienced teens have NOT used contraception. They are not practicing “safe-sex.” There has been a:

  •  26% increase (2005-2013) in teens who did not use a condom during last sexual intercourse.
  • 83% of girls did not use birth control pills to prevent pregnancy before last sexual intercourse. (UNCHANGED since 1995)
  • 97% of girls did not use an IUD before last sexual intercourse.

The SC YRBS also reveals that only 32% of high school teens were sexually active at the time of the survey. In addition, there was a:

  • 28% decrease in high school teens who have EVER had sex. (1995-2013)
  • 49% decrease in 9th grade teens who have EVER had sex. (1995-2013)
  • 30% decrease in high school teens who are sexually active. (1995-2013)

In other words, over the past 18 years:

  • Sexually active SC high school teens have not been practicing “safe-sex.” (SRR education has failed in SC for decades and  they don’t want you to know it!)
  • The majority of SC high school teens were not having sex and/or have NEVER had sex!
  • The percentage of sexually experienced high school teens has decreased steadily since 1995.

Most SC students are not duped by the “all teens are having sex, so you better protect yourself” mantras that are chanted in sex classes. Rather, smart teens embrace the SRA (abstinence) messages promoted by their parents, churches, and agencies that teach Evidence-based Abstinence Education.

Teens will live up to high standards! So, we should set high standards for them and for ourselves.

Such progress bodes well for SC, but only if the current trend continues. SRA (abstinence) should be taught as a separate component for all school age children. To omit this vital perspective from schools is censorship.

“Safe Sex” education sets our kids up for failure and it defeats the purpose of quality education.

Sex Ed Racists and Bigots

Featured

HowIsPornAddicative_HiRes

People raised with strong beliefs about certain classes of people, faiths, income or education levels, intelligence, lifestyles, knowledge or ideologies, find it difficult to tolerate other beliefs. Neural pathways develop during early years making it easier to think, accept and act based on their own perspectives.

Unless something dramatic happens in their lives, this is their world and life view.

Many Black and White parents in the South taught their children “to not judge others by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” Thanks to Dr. King, we saw results from those efforts in Charleston, SC after the tragic slaughter of nine faith leaders at Mother Emanuel AME Church. Much of Charleston’s response was based on looking beyond color to the content of character and understanding that it is the inside of a person that causes evil, not the outside.

Racism and bigotry are learned behaviors.

There is another, more insidious type of racism and bigotry doing great harm to all people and their families. That is the bigotry of low expectations, especially regarding sexual behavior. Planned Parenthood, SIECUS, and other Sexual Rights Bigots have targeted children for over 30 years through Comprehensive Health Education. These racists and bigots have specifically targeted Black, and other minority, children by using them to “test” sex programs and then by herding them into those sex programs through public schools.

For decades, these sex programs have taught that most kids their age are having sex, which is a lie, and that they have a right to experience sexual pleasures regardless of the consequences. (Kinsey Sex) As a result, millions suffer and are enslaved to a Master – the Government.

No one escapes this enslavement. Either you are forced to pay for welfare entitlements with your taxes or you must subsist on them. Many do both. Unless new generations learn the life-script for success and self-sufficiency, there will be nothing, but further social decline for our children and grandchildren.

There is simply not enough money in the world to support a welfare system that has more dependents than those paying into it.

Change is not easy. The majority of adults – who have never known a day without birth control, abortion, and STDs and have no idea how to form healthy relationships or make marriages work – are raising children to do the same. Not only are their brains wired, their children’s teachers, also groomed, normalize sex acts as entertainment. Sex is just sex. They cannot imagine a world where sex is meant for life-long marriage, intimacy, and procreation or where healthy married families thrive.

Their world is a complex mix of chaotic families, single parents, divorce, STDs, abortion, infertility, porn, sex trafficking, lack of job skills, poverty, domestic and sexual abuse, life-long dependency on welfare, depression and addictions, and more and more indulgence in sex acts as entertainment to escape their dire reality.

Many so-called “safe sex” programs do not teach children about puberty, conception, or reproduction. And, none teach your child about abstinence until marriage or about the benefits of marriage. They use pregnancy and STD prevention to teach sex acts (tricks), grooming the masses for self-destruction.

The proven, ideal life-script for centuries has been censored in public schools for decades. The benefits of marriage and delaying sex until marriage are barred topics from health and sex classes. Even now that Same Sex Marriage has been legalized in the U.S., these subjects are censored! (This proves that much of the Same Sex Marriage Movement is/was about sexual freedoms, not about so-called equal rights or about family.) Students are not taught how sex leads to pregnancies and babies, and therefore when pregnancies occur, they demand that the baby be eliminated. “I didn’t sign up for this! All I wanted was great sex!” Cohabitation and hook-ups are presented as normal, expected, healthy lifestyle choices, regardless of the impact on children.

There is institutional racism and bigotry within our government and academic bureaucracies to transform all people into sexually dependent minions. This is a bi-partisan issue! Both Republican and Democrat leaders have promoted this agenda in our schools and state agencies since the early 60’s. Federal funding will only pay for the implementation of Planned Parenthood Sex Programs in school districts, eliminating quality Evidence-based Abstinence Until Marriage Education programs from consideration. As a result, Sexperts teach vulnerable adolescents and teens how to perform “fun and pleasurable” sex acts to fit the Planned Parenthood/Sexual Rights narrative that “all teens will have sex,” thus leading them down the dark path towards chaos and welfare dependency.

These racists and bigots discriminate against entire classes of people, based on race, gender, and religion, to push their new world order. They target the most vulnerable when their brains are experiencing rapid growth.

The only solution is for parents to take responsibility for teaching their own children about sex, reproduction, and marriage.

Parents need to opt out (Sample from Defend the Family or write your own) of all classes or programs teaching sexual information and/or that refuse to teach about delaying all sexual activity until marriage, and the benefits of marriage. If the schools will not allow you to sit in on all of the sex classes for your child and allow you to view all DVDs, workbooks, and teacher manuals of a sex program, then we recommend that you opt out. Please, do not blindly turn your child over to the state. You have options.

Parents and their kids can sign up for Evidence-based classes in the community. And, faith leaders can be trained to teach science-based, medically accurate lessons consistent with their faith.

Tell your schools to teach Johnny and Susie to read, write and do math, and leave the sex information to you, the parents!

Charleston, SC: Explicit Sex Program on Agenda

Making Proud Choices pictureDo you think your voice matters? Sometimes it doesn’t. After a dozen parents in Charleston County School District testified against Making Proud Choices!, with no one signed-up to speak in favor of it, the Health Advisory Committee (HAC) voted unanimously to send it forward to the Strategic Education Committee (SEC). The HAC did not listen. Their minds were made up, and they like to keep meetings to one-hour.

The SEC meets on Tuesday, July 7 at 9 AM.

However, sometimes your voice does matter, a lot! A similar effort failed in 2013 when one parent asked the 3-Trustees on the SEC to open and read just a few pages of the MPC! curriculum. This happened after the room full of proponents had spoken and assured the SEC that this programs was Evidence-based and essential for Charleston’s children. The Trustees were so stunned and surprised by the pornographic nature of the lessons that they voted to table it immediately.

Now, Making Proud Choices! is back on the agenda.

One parent made the difference two years ago. This time we need many more voices!

The HAC assured us at the last meeting that explicit sexual language and other issues have been edited. Are they admitting that MPC! contains porn? Who edited it? What is their expertise? If their background and bias is in condoms-only, risk reduction sex education, then they are not qualified to evaluate a program for abstinence content. Are we going to let them practice on our children with an unproven sex program?

School districts across the US often claim that curricula will be “edited” to conform with community standards. They will say and do anything to get the grant money promised by the Planned Parenthood Network.

After our team reviewed the so-called edits to MPC!, nothing about our position changed. We had not cherry-pick our objections from the curriculum. We used page numbers and quotes as concrete examples of the underlying problems with this sex program. The assumptions are made that “all kids will have sex” and “there’s nothing we can do to stop them” and “we just have to teach them how to have sex safely.”

MPC! and “Safe Sex” programs are an asinine approach to educating minors about sexual health. Sensible adults and authorities talk to kids about avoiding drugs, tobacco, alcohol, and gangs. And, laws that protect and restrict kids from using these products and participating in dangerous activities are enforced. Yet, when it involves preventing sexual activity and the exploitation of minors, those laws and sensibilities disappear.

It’s as if promoting “safe sex” has become the primary focus of the

Department of Education!

Every teen, regardless of sexual history or sexual orientationdeserves to be taught, and reminded often, about the benefits of abstinence and marriage. People seek to change their behaviors every day. They do this with eating habits, drugs, tobacco, alcohol and their peer groups. Sex programs like MPC! are kin to giving an addict a steady supply of the very substance they are trying to avoid.

Many sexually active teens and adults decide to return to abstinence and wait for life-long commitment, rather than settle for short-term uncommitted relationships. We should do everything we can to promote this kind of mature behavior.

“Cleaning up” pornographic sex ed is like putting lipstick on a pig. It’s still a pig!

Update: Making “Poor” Choices! Charleston, SC

Making Proud Choices pictureMaking Proud Choices! (MPC!) passed the so-called Health Advisory Committee (HAC) last week and is now on the fast-track for approval from the Charleston County School District. Even after a dozen citizens testified against MPC!, and no one spoke in favor of it, the HAC voted unanimously to send it to the Strategic Education Committee (SEC) which meets Tuesday, June 2 at 9 AM.

A similar effort failed in 2013 when 3-Trustees on the SEC were asked to read just a few pages of content and were so alarmed by the pornographic nature of the lessons that they voted to table it immediately.

The HAC assured us that the pornographic language and other issues have been edited. However, after reviewing their edits, it changes nothing about our objections to this Condoms-Only Sex Program.

Within days of the HAC decision, it was reported that a Communities In Schools representative pressured a middle school principal to use the unapproved MPC!

What’s up with that?

What is Making Proud Choices!?

It is a condoms-only sex program used in some SC counties targeting minors (11-13), who cannot legally consent to sex. MPC! is listed on websites of the National Coalition to Support Sexuality Education, including Planned Parenthood, Advocates for Youth, and SIECUS. All of these entities authored or support the National Sexuality Education Standards, the “Common Core” for Sexual Rights Education. The infrastructure for Common Core will act as a conduit for the National Sexuality Education Standards. (See previous post about MPC!)

An April 2015 report on MPC! was presented at The Texas Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy conference just a few weeks ago. Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas taught MPC! targeting African American and Hispanic children in 8th and 9th grade, while a control group was taught a regular health program.

By the end of the 3-year project, more of the MPC! 8th grade students:

  • Had sex for the first time
  • Had sex within 3 months after the program
  • Had unprotected sex, and
  • Were less likely to consistently use condoms…compared to the control students.

MPC! students scored higher on knowledge, but they were less confident that they could say no, to having sex.

Our protest is not about whether contraception should be taught in schools. It is about how and when contraception should be taught.

There is no assurance that any HAC edits or “improvements” will be implemented since the final version of the curriculum has not been made public. And, if significant changes are made, then it should be sent back for medical accuracy approval and evaluations by an independent agency.

As it stands, MPC!:

  • Goes far beyond the scope of law to teach minors sexual foreplay techniques, and how to have fun, pleasurable, erotic sex with condoms, under the guise of STD/HIV prevention.
  • Teaches minors that abstinence is the same as “avoiding unprotected sex.”
  • Violates SC Law by not emphasizing abstinence from sexual activity until marriage. The message is clearly to have sex whenever you “feel” ready. Like Friday night?
  • Targets 11-13 year old legal minors which should automatically deem it inappropriate. (Twelve is the average age for porn addiction and sex trafficking.)

The adolescent brain is not mature until about age 25. MPC! and other similar programs groom and exploit minors to engage in sexual activities right at the time when their brains are rapidly developing neural pathways and are most vulnerable to sexual influences.

With twenty-five percent of youth sexually abused by the time they are 18, the probability of sexually exploited children sitting in these classes is high. What are they to think and feel when they hear a trusted teacher tell them that sexual activity is normal and safe for children their age?

Making Proud Choices! is a poor and harmful choice for our children. Charleston’s youth deserve better!

Charleston, SC: Making PORN Choices?

Making Proud Choices pictureMaking Proud Choices! (MPC) is on the fast-track by the so-called Health Advisory Committee (HAC) to get Charleston County School District approval. A similar effort failed in 2013 when School Board Trustees were asked to read just a few pages of content and were so alarmed that they voted to table it immediately.

Now they are back. Who are they?

The HAC includes several Sexual Rights Advocates linked to local, state and national Planned Parenthood organizations, New Morning Foundation/TellThemSC, Advocates for Youth, SC Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, ACLU, and others aligned with the National Coalition to Support Sexuality Education.

While they claim to support the SC Comprehensive Health Education Act (SC Law), they work behind the scenes to gut it of all intent and to promote their Sexual Rights agenda. By promoting undefined and ambiguous ideas such as “medically accurate information,” and “age appropriate” content, they subvert SC Law by redefining abstinence to mean “avoiding unprotected sex,” omit teaching about marriage, and instruct students as young as 11 in how to “safely” perform “fun and pleasurable” sexual foreplay, and oral, anal, and vaginal intercourse.

They groom and exploit minors to engage in sexual activities just at the time when their brains are rapidly developing neural pathways and are most vulnerable to sexual influences.

According to the Oxford Dictionary, pornography is defined as “printed or visual material containing explicit description or display of sexual organs or activity intended to stimulate erotic rather than aesthetic or emotional feelings.” After reading some of the content of MPC, where minors are instructed in how to “eroticize” condom use, it is obvious that this curriculum includes pornographic material.

Any adult saying these same things to a neighbor’s adolescent child would be arrested for exploiting a minor.

What is Making Proud Choices!?

It is a sex education curriculum for minors (11-13), who cannot legally consent to sex. It is listed on websites represented by the National Coalition to Support Sexuality Education.

Evaluation Results: MPC was evaluated as a Saturday program, not in a school setting. Like most similar sex programs, MPC targets low-income, inner-city, African American minors. The mean age was 11.8 years. In some areas of the country, students are paid $100 to take the Saturday classes.

  • Three months after the program, condom use at last sex increased. Students were less likely to have unprotected sexual intercourse.
  • There were no program impacts for virgins at any point during the study.
  • By the end of the study, there were no statistically significant program impacts on overall rates of sexual intercourse or frequency of sexual intercourse.
  • There was no delay of sex. The program did not increase abstinence.

General Information: While MPC never claims to be abstinence education, it is marketed by Sexual Rights Advocates to school districts as an abstinence-based program. The cover page for MPC states that it is a “Safer-Sex Approach to Teen Pregnancy, STDs & HIV.” MPC redefines abstinence to mean “avoiding unprotected sex” or “avoiding unsafe sex” and then repeats the term “abstinence” hundreds of times throughout the curriculum.

Following are direct quotes from MPC Facilitator Manual.

PAGE: (4.1 Edition 2012)

Pg. 60 “Therefore, it is important to avoid these consequences and practice abstinence or at least safer sex.”

Pg. 70 Abstinence is redefined to mean abstaining from unsafe sex: Attitude Statements: “Condoms can be fun and pleasurable if you know the skills to make them that way.” “Girls who carry condoms are smart, responsible, proud, and safe.” “Refusing unsafe sex is the proud responsible thing to do.”

Pg. 85 “Sex can still feel great with condoms. You can make sex fun by using condoms. We’ll learn this later on today.” “It is important that everyone learn how to use condoms correctly.” “Knowing your sexual partner very well does not mean you are safe. You need to use condoms; then you do not have to worry.”

Pg. 87 Kiddie condoms for little penises: #4 “Brainstorm brands and types of condoms…Trojan, Lifestyle, Easy Rider, Rough Rider, flavored, ribbed, ticklers, HotShot (specifically designed for younger teens.)”

Pg. 92 “To protect yourself and your partner from sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV infection, you should: Keep a supply of condoms on hand. Get used to condoms, so they are natural and fun…..Refrain from using alcohol or other drugs because they affect your judgement.” “Condoms make sense. Condoms help protect both partners from pregnancy and STDs, including HIV. However, you must use them correctly every time you have vaginal, oral, or anal intercourse.” 11-13 year old students are not told to avoid sex, but how to engage in it “safely.”

Pg. 98 “Now you know the basics about HIV infection. These are the facts that can help you make proud choices so you can reach your goals in life.” Emotional and neurological consequences of sex are not considered.

Pg. 108 Risk Behaviors: These behaviors are listed as Green, Yellow, and Red Light. Condom use is the goal, not abstinence from all sexual activity. Rather than teaching minors how to avoid risks, they are teaching minors what they can get away with sexually. As long as condoms are used, the following behaviors are discussed as Yellow Light risks: “Having sex with a person who is having sex with others, oral sex on a guy without a condom, mutual masturbation, and vaginal sex, oral sex on a girl using a dental dam, having sex with multiple partners and using condoms, having monogamous sex.”

Pg. 149. Teaching girls how to sexually service boys/partners: “Facilitator Note: Relaxation can wander throughout the whole process to show that relaxation should be a continuous part of the process. Loss of erection can also happen at any time throughout the process.” #12 “Next use the following discussion questions to stimulate positive attitudes toward condom use. Say…Which steps in this process can involve the female? Answers: Sexual arousal, rolling condoms on, intercourse, orgasm, holding onto rim, removing condom, and relaxation. She can also buy condoms and have them ready.” If male loses his erection after putting on a condom and before intercourse, what could the couple do? Answer: This will happen to most males at some point in their lives. Have partner take off condom, continue playing and stimulating one another, relax, and enjoy the fun. After a while, put a new condom on as part of the play.” (This scenario spreads STDs through fluids.) “Summarize by saying, “Remember and practice these steps so that you can make the proud choice and use condoms every time you have sex.””

Pg. 150. Making Proud Choices: “HOW TO MAKE CONDOMS FUN AND PLEASURABLE” 6th Grade/Middle School   Activity B   Procedure for Teachers

Rational: “Helping participants see how they can make condom use fun and pleasurable for themselves and their partners encourages consistent use and a sense of pride and responsibility.” “Add the following ideas to the list if they [students] were not already mentioned by the participants.” “Sex is more fun when condoms are used because…You can use condoms as a method of foreplay. You can think up sexual fantasy using condoms. You can act sexy/sensual when putting condoms on. You can hide one on your body and ask your partner to find it. You can tease each other sexually while putting on the condom. You can have fun putting one on our partner while pretending you are different people or in different situations. You feel more relaxed and can really enjoy yourself. Condoms make erections last longer.

Pg. 151. “Condoms won’t ruin the mood if…You use extra lubrication inside and outside the condom. You use different colors and types/textures. You tell your partner that using condoms can make a man last longer. The partner puts the condom on the penis. You have a sense of humor and make jokes. You put lubricant on the tip of the penis to increase sensitivity or use lubricated condoms. You talk about them in advance. You have the condom open and ready to use.”

*Facilitator note: “Emphasize that you are not endorsing sexual activity among teenagers.”

Pg. 152. MPC is not about learning self-control or delaying sexual activity. “#7. Ask the group to define “spontaneous.” Answers may include: Just do it. Natural flow. No interruptions. No need to wait. #8. “Then, ask them to brainstorm ways to increase the spontaneity and pleasure of condom use. Answers may include: Make sure you have condoms available before you get romantic. Eroticize condom use with partner. (Make it sexy.), Have condoms close by to eliminate fumbling. Prepare the condom in advance. Learn to put the condom on first. Use extra lubricant.” #9. “Encourage everyone to respond. Do you feel prepared to use a condom if you have sex? Will you use one?”

Pg. 153. “Summarize as follows… Once you and your partner both agree to use condoms, do something positive and fun. Go to the store together. Buy lots of different brands and colors. Plan a special day when you can experiment. Just talking about how you’ll use all of those condoms can be a turn on. Remember, the proud and responsible thing to do is to always use latex condoms if you have sex.” (When are 11-13 year olds supposed to practice this? While parents are at work?)

 ****

Imagine a vulnerable, yet curious pubescent minor sitting through these lessons. Sex between and with minors is taught as normal, healthy, and expected. They are groomed to have sex as soon as they “feel ready” and can find a willing partner. Or, as soon as they get home they google more ideas about sex which exposes them to internet porn. The average age for adolescents to become addicted to porn and to be recruited for sex trafficking is 12.

Since 1 in 4 children are sexually molested, abused, exploited by the time they are 18, classes probably includes several minors who have been, or are currently being sexually manipulated. What are they to think? That the abuser is the normal person and that they have no right to feel abused or exploited?

Not only does Making Proud Choices! introduce sex to minors when they are the most vulnerable, it is not “medically accurate” or “age appropriate.” Many of the lessons offer false assurances of “safety” with condoms and some activities taught actually spread STDs. There is no concern for the student’s emotional, spiritual, or brain health. The fact that these students are all minors should immediately label Making Proud Choices! as “age inappropriate.”

Once the content of Making Proud Choices! is fully known and the agenda behind it understood, it is obvious that this program is not in the best interest of Charleston students.
