Minnesota Mom Sues for Usurpation of Parental Rights Thomas More Society Charges Transgender Docs for Treating Son Without Permission
Contact: Tom Ciesielka, 312.422.1333, tc@tcpr.net

(November 16, 2016 – Duluth, MN) Today, a Minnesota mother filed suit against St. Louis County and other agencies for usurping her parental rights over her minor son, who has been receiving transgender services and narcotic drugs without her parental consent. Anmarie Calgaro’s child has been handled by the defendants as an emancipated minor despite no court action to that effect. According to her suit, Minnesota law provides Calgaro no recourse to challenge the emancipation status, which is a violation of her rights as guaranteed under the United State Constitution. She is being represented by attorneys from the not-for-profit public interest law firm, the Thomas More Society, along with Mohrman, Kaardal & Erickson, P.A. Named as defendants in Calgaro’s lawsuit are St. Louis County, St. Louis County Public Health and Human Services Director, Fairview Health Services, Park Nicollet Health Services, St. Louis County School District, Principal of the Cherry School, and her minor son.

Calgaro, along with attorneys and child advocates, will hold a press conference to address the violations of her rights as a parent in connection to her son.

WHAT: Press conference on illegal actions by St. Louis County Public Health and Human Services, Fairview Health Services, Park Nicollet Health Services and St. Louis County School District
WHEN: Wednesday, November 16, 2016, 10 a.m. (Central)
WHERE: Room 181, State Office Building, 100 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. St. Paul, MN, 55155
MAP: State Office Building, St. Paul, MN

WHO:
● Anmarie Calgaro, parent of non-emancipated minor
● Erick Kaardal, Thomas More Society Special Counsel and partner at Mohrman, Kaardal & Erickson, P.A
● Tom Brejcha, President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Society
● Michele Lentz, President, Minnesota Child Protection League

ONSITE CONTACTS:
Julie Quist, 507.720.4772
Erick Kaardal, 763.486.5435

Calgaro’s parental involvement has been repeatedly circumvented as it concerns her 17-year old son. This interference is despite Minnesota’s strong legal tradition of protecting parental rights. In June of 2015, Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid Clinic advised the boy that he was emancipated without a court order; however no legal action has been taken to terminate his mother’s parental rights.

With the same disregard for parental consent, two medical service providers Park Nicollet Minneapolis Gender Services and Fairview provided the minor child medical treatment for a sex change from male to female and for prescribed narcotics, respectively. The medical services and were paid for through St. Louis County Public Health and Human Services.

The St. Louis County Schools, Independent School District 2142, is also treating the child as an emancipated minor, something he is not. The school district is classifying the boy as an adult with exclusive rights to information and decision-making. They are denying Calgaro access to his educational records or any legal authority to affect his educational decision-making.

Ironically, the boy’s application for a name change was denied by the St. Louis County District Court because of the “lack of any adjudication relative to emancipation.”
“This is an outrageous abuse of power by multiple agencies,” stated Tom Brejcha, President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Society. “To treat a minor child without either parental consent or a court order of emancipation is a violation of the trust placed upon the human service sector and its governmental oversight agencies. To give a parent no recourse to intervene in this situation is an egregious violation of Constitutional rights.”

The filing notes:

  • Calgaro’s son is being given unauthorized services and narcotic drugs without either parental consent or a court order of emancipation.
  • Minnesota law violates Calgaro’s federal right to due process because she has no ability to challenge the service providers’ actions without either parental consent or a court order of emancipation.
  • Calgaro has no path to object to her son’s life-changing operation under Minnesota law.
  • Minnesota Courts recognize that a minor child is not emancipated until a Court decides the child is emancipated.
  • The son has filed two petitions to establish a female name. Those requests have been denied because he has no court order of emancipation.

Kaardal summarized, “Ms. Calgaro as a Minnesota parent is entitled to notice and hearing when parental rights regarding a minor child are terminated. Regarding emancipation, the courts recognize a common law right for a teenager to petition for emancipation; but, the courts do not recognize a corresponding common law right for a parent to petition to de-emancipate a teenager. Thus, Minnesota statutes constitutionally err by allowing a medical service provider to treat a teenager as emancipated without a court order and without providing parents a post-deprivation process to challenge the medical service provider’s determination of emancipation. Similarly, the County’s and School District’s determinations of the teenager’s emancipation without a court order violate the parent’s right to notice and a hearing; but, unlike the medical service providers, the County and the School District do not have a statute to pin their unconstitutional conduct on.”

Robot Baby Dolls: “I hate babies?”

Robot babies

Have you ever questioned the use of baby dolls or baby simulators in Sex Ed programs to show teens how much responsibility a baby can be?

After all, many teens either want to have babies or they don’t. Some teens have told us that the “baby dolls” made them hate babies. What if this Sex Ed method is just a sneaky way for the Sexual Rights Groups to predispose teens to abortion, if they do get pregnant?

What impact is there on sexual activity or pregnancies?  We have never seen any data in the US to support this type of Sex Ed. In fact, the last published review – way back in 2011 – showed there was minimal effect on all measures in programs using the baby robots.

Now the media is a buzz reporting about a study out of Australia showing there is evidence that robot babies actually INCREASED pregnancies among the 3000 students studied.  The Lancet, Efficacy of infant simulator programmes to prevent teenage pregnancy: a school-based cluster randomised controlled trail in Western Australia, revealed that

“8 percent of girls who used the dolls had at least one birth, compared to only 4 percent of the girls in the other group. The researchers also found 9 percent of the girls who used the dolls had abortions, compared to 6 percent of the control group. After adjustment for potential confounders, the intervention group was 36 percent more likely to become pregnant than the control group.”

Watch the Wall Street Journal’s video here…

“These dolls are used in school- and community-based teen pregnancy prevention programs in 89 countries. This includes 67 percent of US school districts, according to Realityworks, which makes and sells the simulators.”

At $300 per baby doll, that is a lucrative way to spend our taxpayer dollars! To what end?

Pregnancies and abortions were both higher in the baby robot program group than the controls. We understand that many teens really want to have babies, but what about the increase in abortions?

It seems that more teens in the baby robot Sex Ed classes do develop negative feelings about babies and parenthood. Susan Grant, the director of a Seattle project said that “The majority of the time students took the doll home, they would come back with phrases like ‘I’m not ready for this,’ or ‘I didn’t have any idea of what parenting was about,’ ” she said. “I think they saw the impact that the responsibility has on their own life.”

So, making teens feel disgusted with the idea of babies and responsibilities of parenthood might increase the likelihood of a teen aborting their baby. Who knew?

And, what about the impact on sexual activity?

Well, that is not the point. Sexual Rights Groups don’t care if teens have sex, they just don’t want those babies to mess things up!

Secretly recorded tape reveals abortion clinic chain using similar fetal research methods as Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood/Sexual Rights Surrogates. There are so many and they do not all have the brand Planned Parenthood. The same with Comprehensive Sex Education. Many of the sex programs used in our schools claim they have no connection to Planned Parenthood, yet they operate within the same networks. If the origins are Alfred Kinsey and SIECUS, then they are all the same. Beware.

Saynsumthn's Blog

In a leaked under cover tape, an abortion clinic chain is exposed using similar dehumanizing fetal research methods a Planned Parenthood.

The video was secretly recorded at a National Abortion Federation Conference by the Center for Medical Progress and was leaked to GotNews.com by a hacker last week. In part one, of the Fetal Disposition series you hear a representative from a Washington State abortion clinic describe their fetal tissue research program. In an eerily similar way that the Center for Medical Progress caught Planned Parenthood describing their ghoulish method of procuring tissue from babies they aborted, the Cedar River abortion clinic chain employee brags they are doing the same thing.

Although the staffer identified only as “Connie” does not specify which University they have their research program through, she does indicate that Cedar River abortion clinics collaborate with some of the same private medical research facilities as Planned Parenthood…

Bristol Palin Was Duped

Bristol PalinBristol Palin is no different than millions of Americans (50 and under), who are victims of the lie that “safe-sex” is equal to “abstinence.”

The Candie’s Foundation has never promoted Abstinence-Until-Marriage, nor does Comprehensive Sex Ed in the public schools. They promote “safe-sex” with condoms and call it “abstinence” education to betray the public.

“Abstinence,” as defined by the SexPerts in academia, education, media, and most Teen Pregnancy Prevention Programs, is “avoiding unprotected sex” or “avoiding unsafe sex” or “wait until you are ready, but use condoms sex.” By re-defining “abstinence” the SexPerts have controlled the message. Marriage is never promoted.

Scott Phelps, a national leader in the Abstinence-Until-Marriage movement has an excellent op-ed in the Chicago Sun-Times about Palin, Candie’s Foundation, and the difference between bogus “abstinence” and Abstinence-Until-Marriage education.

Bristol Palin is Neither a Hypocrite nor a Liar

BY SCOTT PHELPS July 4, 2015 – Chicago-Sun Times

Bristol Palin is facing stiff criticism in the wake of her announcement that she is pregnant for a second time — and still unmarried. She is being called a hypocrite due to her work as an abstinence advocate for the Candies Foundation. Palin denies ever being paid as an “abstinence spokesperson.” Posting evidence online to the contrary, her detractors now say that she is not only a hypocrite but also a liar.

Bristol Palin is right. She is neither.  Read more here…

The Sexual Rights Coalition eagerly jumped on Palin to smear all abstinence education as ineffective and unworthy of funding, while they themselves rely on the term “abstinence” to lie their way into public school districts. They cannot have it both ways! Their brand of “abstinence” education is nothing more than promoting sexual foreplay and sex with condoms to millions of minors, teen and adults.

Marriage is the key concept in Abstinence-Until-Marriage Education. That’s why the Sexual Rights Coalition hates it so much. Their agenda is to promote sex at any age outside of marriage. It is the Kinsey, Planned parenthood, SIECUS Sex Agenda.

Everyone in America deserves to be taught Abstinence-Until-Marriage Education, regardless of sexual history or sexual orientation. There is no “choice” if this valuable sexual health message continues to be censored in our schools and colleges.

“Safe Sex” as “abstinence” is fraud.

New Alarming Research About Children | National Center on Sexual Exploitation

KEEPLIFELEGAL

Article by Dawn Hawkins | Director of National Center on Sexual Exploitation

March 13, 2015

new research study from The Internet Watch Foundation and Microsoft was released this week showing that there is a rise in youth-produced child pornography.

The study established that 85.9 percent of content depicting children aged 15 or younger was created using a webcam and 93 percent featured girls. While much of the content appeared to be knowingly created for websites, the study indicates that 100 percent of the content was shared to third party websites, which cannot be traced. The researchers noted a specific concern that the young people featured, “took no steps to conceal their identity or location, even in many cases using their real names.” The study also found that 667 of the images and videos evaluated featured children 15 years and younger, and of this group, 286 were 10 years or younger…

Fifty Shades…about child sexual abuse!

child sexual abuseWho is writing about the child sexual abuse depicted in Fifty Shades of Grey? All the buzz is about so-called “consensual sex;” about how all sexual behaviors are normal and healthy, as long as no one gets hurt. Really? What about Christian?

Anne Lee, the founder of Darkness to Light, a non-profit based in Charleston, SC, knows first-hand about child sexual abuse. Darkness to Light trains adults in how to protect children from sexual predators.

Many of the principles taught in the Darkness to Light trainings are violated in Comprehensive Sex Education classes. Children are groomed at an early age with explicit sexual information making them vulnerable to porn, sex trafficking, and other sexual crimes.

Fifty shades of childhood trauma

Mar 7 2015 The Post and Courier Charleston, SC

Almost every woman I know has read “Fifty Shades of Grey.” I had no interest in it. But when my sister-in-law came to visit, she brought the trilogy, and I saw a way to sample a few pages without a real commitment. To my surprise, I finished all three novels. They are not, however, the books that everyone else seems to have read.

The key fact of “Fifty Shades” is not what the billionaire bondage enthusiast does to women; it’s what was done to him. As a child, Christian Grey was physically abused and neglected; as a young teenager, he was sexually abused by a socially prominent friend of his adoptive mother. It’s no surprise, therefore, that these indelible scars drive his behavior with women. “Fifty Shades” is built on one of the oldest myths in the history of abuse: The abused becomes the abuser.

I understand the attraction of a handsome, young, rich man. I appreciate that women in settled relationships might respond to a spicy story. But in a country where 25 percent of all adults have suffered some form of abuse, I wonder if readers aren’t also — or primarily — responding to the trilogy’s unacknowledged theme. Although we may not acknowledge it or want to share it, those of us who have struggled with the trauma of childhood sexual abuse see glimpses of our own struggle within Christian’s story. We pull for this hero/villain to move from his shadowy past and into a healthy relationship. We want him to triumph over his past. And, first and foremost, we want him to break the chain of the abused becoming abusers — we want no more victims.

As the founder of an organization that seeks to prevent sexual abuse of children, I went looking for reviews and articles that connected this theme to Christian Grey’s behavior. I couldn’t find one. Of the many explorations of Christian’s obsession with bondage and domination, none mentioned abuse.

Tellingly, nothing I read connected this fictional trilogy to three non-fiction situations that have experienced the same primary element: Penn State, the Boy Scouts and the Catholic Church. In each case, there were abusers accomplished in their pursuit of young victims. They groom. They misrepresent what’s happening. They convince the victim that this is what he wants.

Later, when these cases become public, many of us are shocked. We can’t believe anyone would ever do that. But there’s no longer any reason to be blind to offensive, illegal behavior. There are trainings that teach adults how to protect children. And there are programs and books for children that show them the limits of appropriate adult behavior.

Those who devoured “Fifty Shades of Grey” — and, as many do, want to talk about it — would do well to go online to find local community resources and national organizations that combat childhood sexual abuse. They should do whatever they feel is appropriate to protect the children in their lives. Then, when they next talk about the book, they’ll have something compelling, relevant and useful to add to the conversation.

Recruiting teens to push Planned Parenthood

This is disgustingly true. Thanks for showing that PP Sex Ed is Porn, which rewires the brain to lust after sex. Our taxes are paying for this kind of Mainstream Porn, even through Comprehensive Sex Ed, so that toddlers, children, adolescents, teens, and adults are sexually abuse, sexually trafficked, prostituted, trapped in the hook up culture, and raped by uncontrollable sex addicts. All are victims of our Pornified Culture endorsed and promoted by Planned Parenthood, SIECUS, Reality Check, Advocates for Youth, Kinsey Institute, and the US gov. Disgusting!

Sexting, it’s complicated says amoral Planned Parenthood

Please, take this information seriously! This is also how sex trafficking victims are lured. The predator gets them to sent a picture and then tells them it will be shown to his/her parents, church, or school if he/she does not perform sex acts for him/her. How can you protect your children from the steamrolling that the Planned Parenthood Sex Network is running? Find out how you, the parent, can be trained to teach your own child about healthy relationships, sex, and marriage. Or, how your church leaders can be trained to teach “sex ed” in a way that honors God and your family. Then opt out of sex classes or take your child out of public schools. Check out Heritage Keepers for student and adult services. http://www.heritageservices.org Please, take this seriously, before it’s too late.

It’s a complicated issue that needs lots of discussion, says Lauren Dobson-Hughes, the president of Planned Parenthood in Ottawa, about sexting issues.

A young, usually girl, her photo has been shared without her consent and it has gone around the school and she’s being shamed and bullied and very unhappy because of it. Our stance is she’s done nothing wrong. The people who have shared her photo without her consent are the ones we need to talk to,” the Planned Parenthood representative tells News1130.

Dobson says it’s time for parents to accept that sexting is sometimes a fact of teenage life so it’s time to educate kids on the dangers and pit falls of it.

Oh really?

According to STOPP,

while Planned Parenthood makes an effort on its website to warn girls about the perils of sexting, a Planned Parenthood executive goes on record saying the…
