Mary S. McLellan, MS, SRAS ~ Sexual Risk Avoidance Specialist
Sexperts continue to spout ideology rather than medically accurate facts and age appropriate information. They scare parents, teachers, and even faith leaders into believing that every child, adolescent, and teen is going to have sex and that there’s nothing they can do about it.
All, while the CDC reports dramatic decreases in sexually active teens! If Sexperts really believed that teaching kids to abstain is futile:
- Why sneak their sex programs into school districts under the guise of abstinence education?
- Why claim to teach abstinence when they clearly don’t know how to do it?
- Why grab government funding that is only meant for teaching kids the skills NOT TO HAVE SEX, and use it to normalize sexual activity?
- Why be so deceitful about the content of Comprehensive Sex Ed programs if they are really so much better for kids?
John Santelli, Planned Parenthood’s golden-boy, and Leslie Kantor, VP of Education at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, are prolific “researchers” on the abstinence or Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) approach to public health. They even claim to have no conflict of interest when reporting about the so-called failures of abstinence education.
Who are they kidding? Sexualizing innocent children, encouraging minors to explore their sexuality, dispensing contraception, and then treating STDs and aborting babies is their bread-and-butter! It’s all about the money!
Santelli and Kantor’s most recent hit-piece, Abstinence-Only-Until-Marriage: An Updated Review of U.S. Policies, denigrates programs that seek to protect the health and innocence of minors. Their article is basically a rehash of one published in 2006. Other contributors include other Sexual Rights Activists from the Guttmacher Institute, Columbia University, Planned Parenthood, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and Indiana University – home of the Kinsey Institute! They are all known antagonists to abstinence or SRA education.
Among many assertions, the authors contend that there is a fundamental right to be taught everything there is to know about human sexuality and sexual pleasure. They complain that: “The US federal approach to abstinence promotion raises serious ethical and human rights concerns. Access to complete and accurate STI, HIV/AIDS, and reproductive and sexual health information has been recognized as a basic human right and essential to realizing the human right to the highest attainable standard of health.”
Really? For minors?
And, who is it that recognizes “reproductive and sexual health information” is a “basic human right?” Sexual Rights Activists, of course, and especially those operating through the United Nations. However, none of their so-called “human rights” are binding on US public health policies or US parental rights.
These so called “rights” are completely fabricated to promote the Sexual Rights agenda. Family Watch International has fought the Sexual Rights Agenda at the United Nations for decades. Family Watch supports the family and parental rights to protect their children from sexual exploitation. To find out more, watch The War on Children: The Comprehensive Sexuality Education Agenda.
We believe that minor children, including teens, have the legal and human right to be protected from anyone that would harm them physically, emotionally, or psychologically. Therefore, it is beyond obscene to expose them to sexually explicit information.
Who are these “researchers?” They are depraved activist who seek every opportunity to sexually exploit innocent children for their own financial gain.
