Fact Check: Teen Sexual Activity Rates

Image

What percentage of US teens (15-17) are having sex? Most people will say over 50%, if not 75%. They are wrong.

According to CDC data gathered from 2006-2010, almost 75% of US teens (15-17) had not had sex. (73% of females, 72% of males) This means that the sex education (mostly abstinence education) they received in schools across the nation prior to 2011 had a positive impact on their decisions NOT to have sex, even into high school.

CDC 1 in 4 girls have ever had sex

This data also indicated that the TEEN PREGNANCY CRISIS for this age group was, and still is, a media hoax perpetrated by the Planned Parenthood Sex Ed Networks and the Sexual Rights Coalitions to drum up support and funding for more and more sexual foreplay education in our schools.

And, it has worked.

If your state, county or school district has data indicating a higher percentage of students (15-17) are having sex compared to the nation, then you need to ask some questions:

  • Are your schools using failed policies and programs from the 90’s when Federal HIV funding pushed “safe sex-only” programs throughout the nation? Pregnancy rates soared during that decade.
  • Are your schools forced to adopt so-called “new” Progressive policies and programs pushed by these same “safe sex-only” advocacy groups? Many are the same old programs from the 90’s, just wrapped up in prettier packages.
  • Are your students told that they will have sex and the only safe thing to do is practice “safe sex?” This is a lie and students need to know that the majority of teens nationally are not having sex.

According to this CDC data, only 27% of US teens (15-17) were having sex just a few years ago, when abstinence education programs were still funded under the Bush administration. From 2000-2008, many students received medically accurate, age appropriate information about abstinence and marriage in our middle and high schools. Some still do.

Who knew that the CDC data was so strong in favor of abstinence education programs? The consistent mantra from the media was that Federally funded abstinence education programs had failed and that all school age children needed to be taught how to have “safe sex.”

The complicit media and “safe sex” advocates worked with the Obama administration to cancel all Community-Based Abstinence Education grants in 2008, and funnel the funding to “safe sex-only” programs. Since 2008, the sexual rights agenda has ramped up and many school districts across the nation are being forced to implement “safe sex-only” programs and to eliminate all abstinence-until-marriage education programs.

Will the CDC conduct another survey on sexual activity rates from 2010-2014 now that more and more students are being taught how to engage in sexual foreplay, oral, anal, and vaginal “safe sex” in middle and high school?

We hope so, but we are not holding our breaths!

Data on sexual activity rates is important for parents, school administrators, and state legislators to know because research has shown that sexual activity, alone, is an independent predictor of academic achievement. Sexual activity brings extreme drama into a teen’s life that prevents them from doing well in school. This research shows that regardless of contraceptive use, the abstinent teens did much better in school, and were more likely to graduate from high school and pursue further education compared to those students who were sexually active.

Measuring sexual activity rates reveals far more about whether teens are putting themselves at risk for a life of welfare dependency than pregnancy rates or birth rates. Pregnancy rates are no longer accurate because of home pregnancy tests and Plan B. And, birth rates only count those babies that are born ALIVE!

Contraception and abortion have skewed the data on pregnancy rates and birth rates. Therefore, sexual activity rates are the only valid criteria to predict the outcome of today’s sex education.

IF the CDC conducts another national survey on sexual activity, will the results be reported in time to protect this and future generations from the failed policies and “safe sex” programs of the Obama administration?

Let’s hope the CDC does their job, so that we all will know.

Toni Braxton talks about abortion of convenience calls her decision selfish

Saynsumthn's Blog

Toni Braxton says abortion was selfish- she feels ashamed-she still deals with the psychological impact of her decision.

Toni BraxtonET

According to the interview that she gave to ET, Toni claims that more than 10 years ago, she discovered she was pregnant by her then-boyfriend, soon to be husband Keri Lewis. (Of R&B band Mint Condition) Toni says she was in the middle of a six-month prescription of Accutane, which is a heavy-duty prescription acne treatment that can produce devastating side effects for fetuses.

She made the decision to terminate the pregnancy, as a result of this but in her new memoir “Unbreak My Heart“, she admits that even if she hadn’t been on the medication, she would’ve made the same decision. According to Braxton, her reasons had more to do with convenience than fear her baby would be abnormal.

“I felt selfish because I was thinking, I’m going…

Push towards Universal National Service: voluntary but an expected rite of citizenship ?

Aspen festival

A new push by former U.S. Army Gen. Stanley McChrystal seeks to force – I mean “obligate” – every young adult into one year of government indoctrination – I mean “service.”

franklin_logo_4_0

At the 2012 Aspen Ideas Festival, General (Ret.) Stanley McChrystal, Former Commander of U.S. Forces Afghanistan, noted that for first time in history less than 1 percent of Americans are serving in our nation’s military. He called for large-scale national service, either military or civilian. Aspen then created the “Franklin Project,” after Ben Franklin, who believed service by citizens was central to our democracy.

Here is what General McCrystal said at the Aspen Festival:

NEW AMERICAN RITE OF PASSAGE

McCrystal explains, “When we say Universal, we want an expectation. We want..people to get into cocktail parties and talk about ‘where’d you serve?’…Ad if you didn’t, I kinda want the people who didn’t to look at the…

Planned Parenthood former employee turned whistle blower charges the abortion giant with fraud

Saynsumthn's Blog

Planned Parenthood must face claims that it defrauded Medicaid with regard to blood tests performed on Texas teens, a federal judge ruled.
Patricia Carroll

According to Court House News, Patricia Carroll brought the complaint in late 2012 after serving as the accounts receivable manager for Houston-based Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast Inc. for five years. In March of that year, she had allegedly noticed that a Planned Parenthood clinic in Huntsville experienced a revenue increase of more than 300 percent.

PPGulfCoast2010-affiliate-header-91650

On July 30,2013 Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast settled a whistle-blower lawsuit that alleged the Houston abortion giant engaged in fraudulent Medicaid billing for $4.3 million.

In finalizing the settlement, which includes total state and federal recovery, the agency claimed the allegations that it submitted more than $30 million in fraudulent bills between 2003 and 2009 were “baseless.”

“This settlement is not an admission of guilt,” Planned Parenthood said in a prepared statement.
