The Sexual Rights Cash Cow

by Mary S. McLellan, MS, SRAS ~ Sexual Risk Avoidance Specialist

cow-cashHave you ever felt queasy about those sex programs in your child’s school or health clinic? Maybe you feel that your child is too young to know about oral, anal, and vaginal sex, and how lube can make sex more fun…but you say nothing.

Besides, all of the other parents are letting strangers teach their children about sex, so why shouldn’t you?

Or, maybe you caved, because Educrats and Sexperts have convinced you that they know better than you what is best for your child?

Your gut is right and you should have trusted it! Some of the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Programs promoted and funded with your tax dollars were re-evaluated over the past five years and FAILED miserably. Buried in the HHS website is the evidence that these programs fared no better than general health classes at reducing teen sex or increasing condom use. In fact, some of the programs increased teen sex and pregnancies!

Thanks to Ascend CEO Valerie Huber, these evaluations released in July 2016 are exposed in this press release. Ascend is the only credentialing organization in the U.S. that trains professionals in Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA), a public health model for optimal ascend-infographic-on-csesexual health. You can read more in Obama’s promiscuous sex-ed program a failure. Also, click on the Infographic (right) for a quick look or here for a more detailed summary of the findings.

Parents must find out if these failed Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) programs are still in their schools and community organizations: Carrera Program (Children’s Aid Society), Cuidate, It’s Your Game: Keep It Real, PHAT! Abstinence-Only Intervention (Promoting Health Among Teens), Reducing the Risk, Safer Sex, Seventeen Days, Teen Outreach Program, and BART (Becoming A Responsible Teen).

We need a massive recall of these programs!

Don’t be duped by so-called “adaptations” of old or failed programs. Adaptations are simply a slick move by HHS to revamp the same failed sex programs without evaluating them. If the core is rotten, the entire product is disgusting!

While, most of the HHS Teen Pregnancy Prevention Programs are a scam, there is one exception. Heritage Keepers® Abstinence Education is the only authentic Sexual Risk Avoidance program that has been proven effective at increasing abstinence among teens. Heritage Keepers® promotes abstinence-outside-of-marriage. After one year, Heritage Keepers® students initiated sexual activity at a rate that is 67% lower than students not receiving the program.

Today, we have generations of indoctrinated millennials and those younger who think that aberrant sexual lifestyles are the norm. They have been taught that everyone, regardless of age, has the right to sex, as long as they have consent.

Really? Sexual predators groom their victims to consent to sex.

American parents must wake up. You have been used and abused by the Sexual Rights Agenda. You are their Cash Cow. They have taken your money, your children, and your marriages.

Now, they want to take away your future.

First Ladies of Africa Push Back!

taxdollarsatworkWhat does “reproductive health” mean to you? To the US and the United Nations (UN), “reproductive health” means unlimited access to abortion. The baby’s health – and life – are not important.  Abortion is the solution to all human problems and it must be normalized to the entire world.

Abortion is often introduced through Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) by Sexual Rights Groups. Pro-life advocates need to pay attention to CSE, because it has indoctrinated generations into the Sexual Rights culture. (Find Member Organizations of the National Coalition to Support Sexuality Education in the US)

The UN continues its push for abortion rights in Africa under the guise of CSE, which only promotes condoms and contraception. Advocates are careful not to mention abortion, but lay the foundation for it by addressing forced marriages, female mutilation, and sexual violence against girls.

The Center for Family and Human Rights (C-Fam) posted an article entitled UN Agencies Enlist African First Ladies to Sanitize “Reproductive Health” and Sex Ed, which reveals that many of the First Ladies are not deceived about the US/UN’s agenda to destroy their families through sexuality education.

In fact, several first ladies used the opportunity to speak positively about the family and African culture and tradition, both of which are frequently characterized at the UN as barriers to sexual and reproductive rights.  The First Lady of Burkina Faso quoted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights description of the family as “the natural and fundamental group unit of society,” while the First Lady of Namibia referred to traditional practices as “the glue that keeps our societies together.”

The First Lady of Nigeria stressed the importance for adolescent girls of understanding the balance of freedom and responsibility, especially in the context of sex education, which she said must teach about the “dangers of indulgence and licentious behavior and the importance of abstinence and self-control.”

While abortion is illegal in many African nations, the UN is relentless in normalizing it as the only solution to all of Africa’s problems. The First Lady of Namibia called out the UN, and the US government, for pushing their “one size fits all” agenda onto African nations.

Why does the US and United Nations persist in their subversive takeover of other nations with their Sexual Rights ideologies? How far will the United Nations Population Fund and the International Planned Parenthood Federation go to normalize deviant sexual practices that violate the values of other nations?

As far as the voters and taxpayers will allow it.

Is Marriage Still Legal in the U.S.?

by Mary S. McLellan, MS, SRAS – Sexual Risk Avoidance Specialist

married-familyI thought marriage was still legal in the U.S. It seems the only kind of marriage that is legal and talked about anymore is Same Sex Marriage. What about Heterosexual Marriage? You know, the kind that has been proven the best method of family formation for children and adults for centuries?

Did you know that Heterophobia is a thing? It is the “fear of straight people.” The dictionary states that “it is an irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against heterosexual people.”

In many states, marriage was taken out of Health Education Standards eight years ago. Is it any wonder that kids grow up thinking that relationships and heterosexual marriage don’t matter? That it is normal and expected for them to have serial sexual relationships and babies by different parents throughout their lives?

Aren’t you sick of all the phobias? Following the Golden Rule would solve a lot of civility issues in our culture.

What about the children? Finally, someone cuts through the noise and focuses on the rights of children. Margaret Somerville, a professor of Bioethics in the School of Medicine at The University of Notre Dame Australia, writes in It’s about children’s rights, not sexual orientation,

“But when, as in same-sex marriage, we are faced with a conflict between children’s rights and adults’ claims, ethically we should choose in favour of the weakest, most in need, most vulnerable persons. That means choosing what is best for children.”

If this is true, why is it that traditional Heterosexual Marriage cannot be discussed in public schools? If children fare best on all social indicators when raised by their own two marriage biological parents, then why not teach about heterosexual marriage in Health Classes or Sex Ed? Why is it censored?

Is it any wonder that the U.S. ranks as a third world country on many social indicators?

We need to get back to the basics of building strong families. Jobs, civility, and national security matter, but the U.S. is fundamentally broken because of a disregard for marriage.

Heterosexual Marriage, that is.

Block the Vote! Block Planned Parenthood!

“Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter. If you say, ‘But we knew nothing about this,’ does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay everyone according to what they have done?”  Proverbs 24:11-12 (NIV)

i-stand-against-planned-parenthoodPlanned Parenthood has no shame. Not only are they the largest provider of Comprehensive Sexuality Education (Sexual Rights) in our schools, they bankroll political candidates and extort their votes. Planned Parenthood’s political slaves use your tax money to funnel more and more vile Sexual Rights propaganda into our culture.

Planned Parenthood elected officials must legislate for increased access to abortion, birth control, Emergency Contraception, Obamacare, and Comprehensive Sex Education, or  else. According to the Planned Parenthood Action website, during this fiscal year US Health and Human Services used your taxes to issue grants to:

  • 15 Planned Parenthood affiliates to replicate HHS Teen Pregnancy Prevention Programs across the nation. ($101 million).

  • 26 Planned Parenthood affiliates to implement the Personal Responsibility Education Programs (PREP), Comprehensive Sex Education. ($75 million).

None of this is new. It’s happened for decades and will only get worse, unless we stop them. Planned Parenthood is the primary player in most divisions of US Health and Human Services. And, Obamacare was designed, in part, to support the Planned Parenthood business model by establishing school-based clinics in every school. Once inside the school, they can teach minors how to have so-called “safe-sex” and get contraception without their parent’s knowledge. They can also refer students to their “health clinics” for more reproductive services (abortions).

Follow the money! Planned Parenthood, and their surrogates, have groomed generations of customers for their lucrative sex industries.

If you want to stop the Planned Parenthood Sexual Rights Agenda from indoctrinating your children (K-12), then find out who they endorse, so that you DO NOT VOTE FOR THEM!

Don’t Vote for these Candidates: Planned Parenthood Voter Guide.

VOTE FOR The Other Guys! The rest is up to you!

No one is safe with Planned Parenthood in charge!

Sexual Rights Agenda: Activism or Terrorism?

hedonism-word-cloudThose behind the Sexual Rights Agenda do not live by the Golden Rule. This is evidenced by their aggressive take-over of schools, universities, government agencies, and even other nations. Militant Sexual Rights operatives, including the Obama administration and the UN, are demanding their way or else… they will make our lives a living hell.

There is no middle ground as LGBTQ/Planned Parenthood/Comprehensive Sex Ed is forced on ALL public school children. Parental Rights do not matter either, as proven repeatedly by hostile School Districts and government bureaucrats.

If it’s any consolation, many in the LGBTQ camp

are also sick and tired of the US propaganda to promote the Sexual Rights Agenda!

Read “Even Political Left Frustrated with US Focus on Everything Homosexual!”

Vile sexually explicit information is forced on legal minors, who deserve to be protected by law, not violated. Such programs within Comprehensive Sex Ed promote Child Porn and Child Sexual Abuse, which BTW are illegal in the US. However, laws are not consistently enforced. This is one reason why the Department of Justice made the 2016 Dirty Dozen List of Leading Facilitators of Sexual Exploitation.

Judith Reisman has dedicated her life to exposing the fraudulent research of Alfred Kinsey. Watch Reisman lecturing on CSPAN in 2012 about Kinsey and his legacy of Child Porn. Pornographic sex acts are taught in some Comprehensive Sex Ed programs, which are funded with our tax dollars!

Today’s sex educators (willing or not) are trained to be child molesters within their schools.  According to the FBI, child molesters:

  • Demonstrate sex acts to children. Offenders commonly use pornography to teach or give instructions to naïve children about how to masturbate, perform oral sex and/or engage in sexual intercourse.

  • Lower the sexual inhibitions of children. Some children naturally fear sexual activities. Some offenders show pictures of other children engaging in sexual activities to overcome these fears, indicating to their intended victims that it is all right to have sex with an adult because lots of other boys and girls do the same thing.

  • Desensitize children to sex. Offenders commonly show child pornography to their intended victims to expose them to sexual acts before they are naturally curious about such activities.

  • Sexually arouse children. Offenders commonly use pornographic images of other children to arouse victims, particularly those in adolescence.

If the FBI can spot child molesters, why not teachers and those who train them? Why is obscenity allowed in our schools, when registered sex offenders cannot go near a school? Are schools protected from obscenity laws? If any of us spoke this way to a neighbors’ child or in the work place, we would arrested. What kind of person wants to teach this information to children?

The Sexual Rights Agenda is based solely on ideology – not science or medically accurate information. Teaching minors to experiment with sex and have sex with anyone – at any time – is exploitation. And, teaching them that they can or should change their gender is beyond abhorrent to most of us. There is plenty of scientific/medical evidence and experience that this type of indoctrination is false and dangerous to the public health of our nation. Many victims who decided to transition to the opposite gender have testified that they regret doing so. And, some have transitioned back to their birth gender with messed up lives and missing body parts.

Parents (and taxpayers), we can no longer hide or be neutral on these sexual issues. Many of us have tried to live under the radar and go-along-to-get-along for decades. There is no such thing as neutrality or accommodating the Militant Sexual Rights Agenda., especially for people of faith.

Read Rod Dreher’s excellent article, We Have Been Warned and listen to On paying a price for your beliefs – The Benedict Option from the American Defense Fund/Freedom Matters.

If your state still allows parents to opt-out of sex ed, it does not mean that their child’s friends won’t tell or text them what they learned in sex class. Plus, many sex programs are designed to cross curricula or influence the entire student body and school administration.

Read “At the Intersection of Sex Ed and English” and “Using YA lit for sex-ed: More than birds and bees.”

Many of us have sacrificed financially to enroll our kids in private or religious schools. Do you know what is taught about sex and marriage in those schools?  Who are their peers? Parents have told us that their 5 and 6 year old children learned about oral sex at sleep overs. Private or religious schools are not always exempt from governmental control or mandates, either.

Many parents choose to home school their children. And, many home schooled kids are experts on computers where they easily access porn. What about youth groups and other home schooled peers? We know of youth who were home schooled their entire lives, yet were exploited and/or introduced to porn at their churches, or through sports, Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts. Remember that home school parents also pay taxes that support the Sexual Right Agenda.

None of us can hide from the Sexual Rights Gestapo. The state religion is Hedonism and subjects must bow down or else. We must know what we believe and why we believe it. It is up to decent law abiding parents and taxpayers with deep faith convictions to stand up for what they believe.

Our kids are watching!

Hostile Takeover by the US Government

Parents, Time to Opt-Out?

By Mary S. McLellan, MS, SRAS ~ Sexual Risk Avoidance Specialist

school bus

While many parents are glad that their kids are back in school, they worry about what their kids will learn.  Will their kids excel in academics and sports? Or, will the Sexual Rights Agenda convince their little girls to become boys?

This year, many states and their school districts across the nation have caved to the US/Planned Parenthood/LGBTQ demands for explicit Sex Ed in all grades. Even Kindergarten students will be taught that gender is fluid and that they can begin the lifelong medical process of transitioning to the opposite gender than they were born. Students will learn that sex is just like brushing teeth; if minors want to engage in sexual activity, they can and should. Sex is a Human Right.

What’s a parent to do?

Find out quickly if your school’s administration pushes the Sexual Rights Agenda. Don’t ignore this. Don’t procrastinate. You must parent your child on sexual issues, or someone else will!

Find Out Your State Law for Sexuality Education Content

What is required in your state or school district? Unfortunately, the information from the US Department of Education is psycho-babble and of little help to parents. For example, Safe Schools – Healthy Schools Initiatives sound really great until one finds out that they are obsessed with promoting sexual deviancy and normalizing sex.

Each state has a Sex Ed Law that should govern what can and cannot be taught in publicly funded education. Often, the Law and the policies conflict, because SexPerts in the system subvert the Law. Find out what the Law is and compare it to your school district’s policies. Law should take precedence over policies.

The best source for information about the LGBTQ/Sex Ed Agenda is found on their advocates’ own websites. LGBTQ/Sex Ed advocates work nonstop to overturn Laws and policies at every level of government and they are very proud of their success. Guttmacher Institute promotes “research” to only support explicit sexuality content aimed at your child. SIECUS (Sexuality Information Education Council of the US) promotes sexually explicit Sex Ed programs and the LGBTQ lifestyle to school districts under the guise of anti-bullying. Both Guttmacher and SIECUS are spinoffs of Planned Parenthood, the largest purveyor of LGBTQ/Sex Ed in the nation. Hundreds of other surrogates may be found at the National Coalition to Support Sexuality Education.

Promoting sex to your children is their Bread & Butter!

Parents can find out the type of Sex Ed allowed/not allowed in their state using the following links.

Guttmacher provides information about parental notification, consent, or Opting-Out. If Sex Ed is taught in your state, find out if teaching about contraception, abstinence, importance of sex only within marriage, sexual orientation, negative outcomes of teen sex, and/or Life Skills are required. If HIV education is mandated, information is available about whether condoms and/or abstinence must be included.

The SIECUS link provides progress updates and future goals on sexual issues in your particular state and legislation in the works.

Read Those Notification and Consent Forms!

By now, parents should have received a stack of papers from their school to read and sign. If not, check your child’s backpack! Read the papers carefully. Some schools may only reveal that your child will receive Sex Ed this year. They may have a fancy name for the program and never tell you the title of the actual curricula used to indoctrinate your child into the world of sexual lifestyles.

Other schools may wait until closer to the time sex classes begin to notify parents. This means that parents only have a week or two to look into the Sex Ed provided and make a decision. This popular tactic puts peer pressure on the parents to just let their child attend the classes to avoid “embarrassment” or “offending” the teacher or school.

Be sure to check the Guttmacher link (above) to find out about the “role of parents.” Most states are only required to notify parents that students will receive sex ed during the school year. They may not need your consent at all. This is how millions of kids are indoctrinated every year.

What Type of Sex Ed Is Taught?

It is important to find out the type of Sex Ed in your school. The information from your school district may be intentionally vague and confusing. Ask to see all curricula including posters, videos, teacher manuals, etc. There should be no hesitation by the administration to show these programs to parents. At the same time, many schools would rather parents Opt-Out than know what is really in the curricula!

Sexual Risk Reduction – Does your school district teach Sexual Risk Reduction (SRR) education? SRR is the same as Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) and might include a statement or two that abstaining from sexual activity is the only 100% way to avoid pregnancy and STDs. The remaining content in the curricula is about so-called ‘safe sex’ or ‘protected sex.’

Parents beware…Don’t be duped by Sex Ed programs claiming that they are “Abstinence-based” or have an “Abstinence-Approach.” These programs usually spend less than 5% of their content on abstinence and 95% on promoting reasons to have so-called “safe sex.” Many school districts, teachers, and parents are deceived by this type of marketing.

CSE/SRR education cannot claim to prevent pregnancies and STDs, because it does not discourage sex. SRR might reduce the risks. CSE/SRR programs normalize LGBTQ and transgender lifestyles. Check to see if your school provides any of the CSE/SRR programs, (except for Heritage Keepers® Abstinence Education,) on this Teen Pregnancy Prevention Programs list.  If you find a program on this list, check out the research to see if the program even worked to increase condom/contraception use, reduce number of partners, and/or reduced frequency of sex. How long did their results last? Was there any effect at the end of the program? How many studies were done and what were the sample sizes? Was the program evaluated in a school setting or in a community/after school setting? You may be shocked at what you learn.

Sexual Risk Avoidance – Some states mandate or at least allow schools to offer a separate course on Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) or Abstinence Education. SRA/Abstinence Education is a public health approach that advocates teaching all students, regardless of sexual history or sexual orientation, the benefits of abstinence, the life skills to avoid sexual risks, and how to plan for their future.

If your school district says that they offer a proven-effective SRA/Abstinence Education curricula, it should be on this Authentic SRA Curricula list. Any SRA/Abstinence Education offered must be taught as a separate course! Otherwise, the medically accurate information and life skills contained will be obscured by the illicit content in CSE/SRR programs intended to entice kids to have sex. Mixed messages do not work for kids!

ExposeSexEdNow ONLY supports the SRA/Abstinence Education Approach. And, Heritage Keepers® is the only Abstinence-Outside-Of-Marriage curricula on both the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program and the Authentic SRA Curricula sites. This program should be welcomed in all public schools!

After one year, Heritage Keepers® Abstinence Education students

initiated sexual activity at a rate that is 67% lower than students not receiving the program.

Write an Opt-Out Letter, Today!

If SRA/Abstinence Education is not allowed in your school, parents must resist the pressure to conform to the LGBTQ/Sexual Rights Agenda. Seriously consider Opting-Out of all Sex Ed in that school!

Write a standard Opt-Out letter each year. This letter specifies what you, the parent/legal guardian, will allow and/or not allow regarding sexual content taught to your child. Get other parents in the school to do the same. The more parents that will Opt-Out of CSE/SRR education, and all sexually explicit content in any course, the safer your child will be.

Opt-out letters can be as simple or detailed as you want. Some excellent examples of opt-out letters can be found at these sites:

Experience has taught us that Opt-Out letters need to include the following to be effective:

  • Ask for a written response by a defined date indicating that the administration received and agrees to your requests
  • Address your letter to the Superintendent and copy all members of the School Board and principal
  • Send letters by registered mail so that you have a signed confirmation that it was received
  • Keep a dated and signed copy each year

If all else fails to reveal the true intent of your school’s administration, ask to sit in on Sex Ed classes BEFORE you will allow your child to participate. Don’t let anyone tell you that they are the experts and “not to worry!”

If your school’s administration “drank the LGBTQ/Transgender Kool-Aid,” you may need to seriously consider Opting-Out of all public schools in your state.

It is up to you to protect your children.

No one cares more about your children than you do!

No one!

Just like Jewish lives…Black Lives DO Matter!

Tim ScottDid Jewish lives matter during World War II? Yes, and there was no quibbling about it. Jewish people were targeted by the Nazis for extinction and Christians, like Corrie Ten Boom with others in the Holland Underground, sacrificed their lives to save them.

Why are we whining about whether Black Lives Matter or All Lives Matter? It’s petty in the midst of the violence on our streets, deliberate slaughter of unborn Black babies, and fatherless children.

The Black family in America has been systematically under assault since the time of slavery, and especially since Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, designed ways to control Black populations. Along with Adolph Hitler, Sanger collaborated in eugenics to develop a pure race by getting rid of populations that, in their opinion, were unfit. Hitler targeted the Jews and Sanger targeted the “Negroes.” Both, also targeted the mentally deficient so that they would not be a burden on social services.

Margaret Sanger is quoted saying, “We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities.  The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”

According to Dr. Paul Kenger, “Margaret Sanger spoke to a women’s organization affiliated with the KKK and she started the Negro Project to bring birth-control information and clinics to impoverished southern African-Americans. Moreover, the Planned Parenthood founder unequivocally preached a creed of “race improvement,” which meant refining the gene pool and controlling and limiting the reproduction of human beings whom she thought weakened the human race. She clearly saw “Negroes” as among those members of the human race whose reproduction she wanted to control. And there is no doubt that the KKK, being absolute racists, would have lauded that.”

Not only did Sanger seek to control the population growth of Black families, President Johnson’s War on Poverty during the 60’s targeted Black families for government dependency and birth control. Taxpayer funded Planned Parenthood clinics were located in predominately Black neighborhoods to target Black women seeking contraception or abortions. More American unborn Black babies are slaughtered in abortions than any other race. This is genocide.

Add to that, taxpayer funded public schools that indoctrinate generations of Black children through so-called Comprehensive Sex Ed. These sex programs promote early sexual activity, which sustains the Planned Parenthood business model through birth control, teen pregnancies, STD treatments, and abortions. Poor inner city Black youth have been used in “research projects” to develop many of the Comprehensive Sex Ed programs used in public schools across the nation. Such Sexual Rights programs are then funded by federal and state taxes to not only promote birth control and abortion, but also pornographic sex play, gender diversity and transgender agendas.

The ‘newest’ idea from Progressive think tanks is public boarding schools, where inner city youth in Washington, DC are housed during the week and indoctrinated. Once again, our taxes pay for this.

We are all being played by governmental systems and a complicit media. Government and money are the problem, not the solution.

Regardless of whose fault the violence and injustice belongs, the Black family needs help. Senator Tim Scott (SC), one of only two Black US Senators stated today, “The government cannot make us get along,” he said. Instead, Americans would have to do better, be kinder and listen with “their heads and their hearts.”

Black Lives Matter” is an urgent cry to pay attention. Stop defending Whiteness. If you are really not a racist, speak out for justice and stop the madness wherever you live.

STD Germ Pool: A Public Health Crisis

Mary S. McLellan, M.S., SRAS ~

ARCpoint-Labs-CDC-Reports-2012-STD-Rates-on-the-RiseThe CDC reports that cases of Chlamydia and Syphilis are at all-time highs, especially among the LGBTQ and Sexual Rights populations. Even worse, the presence of any STD increases the susceptibility for other STDs, including HIV.

The STD Germ Pool expands.

Meanwhile, the CDC, US Health and Human Services and US Department of Education continue to fund and promote LGBTQ and Sexual Rights groups and causes. So, taxpayer funding is used by LGBTQ and Sexual Rights groups to force taxpayers to condone, endorse, normalize, subsidize, and institutionalize unhealthy lifestyle choices that can only lead to more STDs, misery, and chaos.

This is government cronyism.

To allow the LGBTQ and Sexual Rights Agenda precedence in our society defies proven successful public health policies. Less than 4% of the US adult population self-identify as LGBTQ and only .3% self-identify as transgender. Why does this very tiny percentage of our population get to set policies and influence laws that can and do negatively affect over 96% of others? Good public health policies are meant to communicate optimal health and safety standards for the masses.

Does this mean that the CDC seeks to convert us all into LGBTQ and Sexual Rights advocates?

Are taxpayers expected to just shut up and pay up?

Apparently, yes. This is tyranny, not a democracy!

The CDC’s stated public health policy on preventing STDs is “the most reliable way to avoid STDs is to abstain from all sexual activity or be in a long-term mutually monogamous relationship with an uninfected partner.”

Contrary to their policy, the CDC operates a double standard when it pertains to sexual rights. Any other health and safety risks, such as alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and violence require strict avoidance policies, not indulgences. The CDC would never provide liquor, cigarettes, heroin, and guns for the masses, yet they promote sexual behaviors to the masses through public education.

The CDC and other agencies endorse and fund Comprehensive Sex Ed (CSE) programs that teach minors how to engage in sexual behaviors. Many school districts across the US are forced through regulations, funding, and intimidation to only use CSE programs that fail to teach the skills to avoid sexual activity.

CSE is based on Kinsey’s fraudulent and discredited “science and was never intended to prevent sexual activity. The primary goal has always been to promote sexual rights. According to Kinsey, humans are sexual from birth, therefore, CSE programs teach that sexual activity is healthy, normal, and expected from birth. Public health and safety are secondary if considered at all.

Every trick is played to get CSE/Kinsey’s sex ideology taught to your child from K4-12th grade and throughout society. Some programs are disguised as Sexual Abuse Prevention, Anti-bullying, Human Sexuality, Safe and Healthy Schools, Family Life, and/or STD and Pregnancy Prevention. All are modeled after Kinsey and his pedophiles’ sexual abuse of infants and children.

Without dispute, the earlier that children and teens begin participating in sexual activity, the more lifetime sex partners they will have. The expected results are more STDs, pregnancies, abortions, and failed relationships leading to more dependency on welfare programs. This racket is about money and power at the expense of countless victims.

The government finances LGBTQ and Sexual Rights groups, as well as, a flourishing sex industry. They, in turn, produce a never ending supply of customers involved in sexual abuse, sex trafficking, prostitution, and pornography, who seek health services for STDs, contraception, and abortions. And, so it goes… on and on…

Optimal public health for the masses must be the primary focus of any sexual rights debate. The masses should not be bullied into submission by a minute minority, especially when their sexual behaviors endanger the public’s health and safety.

That’s why it’s called “public health.”

Sex Slavery expands in Georgia

Mary S. McLellan, M.S., SRAS ~

Sex Trafficking in GA Georgia is well known for having a human sex trafficking epidemic. Sex trafficking in Atlanta and other hot spots in Georgia have been reported for years and it’s only getting worse. So, why are children and families in Georgia so vulnerable to sex trafficking?

To make matters worse, recently Gov. Deal (R) caved to economic tyranny imposed by the Human Rights Campaign’s (HRC).HRC is one of the main proponents of normalizing sex for minors in the nation. As a result of HRC’s bully tactics, religious leaders must now marry couples against their church’s doctrine, thus promoting sexual practices that violate religious liberty guaranteed by the GA and US  Constitution.

The HRC is a member of the National Coalition to Support Sexuality Education and author of the so-called  federal Healthy Youth Act. Their goal is to mandate Comprehensive Sex Education (Sexual Rights-only) in all public schools. One method of achieving this goal is to make it illegal in Georgia to teach students the benefits of delaying sexual activity and the importance of marriage for raising healthy families. California has already passed such legislation.

FLASH is a sex program listed on Planned Parenthood’s website and the primary source of sexual health information for students in DeKalb County schools in metro-Atlanta. FLASH curricula has been used for years in Seattle and Kings County, Washington throughout elementary, middle, and high schools. FLASH normalizes sexual activity among and with minors.

FLASH sex classes are required to be co-ed so that students can learn to feel comfortable talking about sex with their friends. Teachers are trained to “norm” the classroom so that students feel safe asking  questions and students are told not to talk about content or discussions outside of the classroom. “Family” is defined without including a traditional family model.

A review of FLASH videos and information for teachers reveals that minors, who cannot legally consent to sex, learn about the following subject matter:

  • LGBT Youth: Reteaching Gender & Sexuality

    • This film won awards from Gay and Lesbian film festivals in San Francisco, Seattle, London, and Rio.

    • It normalizes gay, lesbian, transgender relationships – everyone is queer. If you are not queer, you are the odd one.

  • STD Prevention: STD Myths from, a project of Answer at Rutgers University (YouTube.)

    • While this film has some medically accurate information about STDs, it promotes sexual activity as normal among and with minors.

    • STDs are either treatable or manageable.

    • Condoms and dental dams are the “best protection,” if not practicing abstinence. However, abstinence is not recommended as the best sexual health option nor is it presented as the norm for teens, which CDC data supports.

    • is funded by the US Health and Human Services Maternal and Child Health, an author of the National Sexuality Education Standards, and a member of the National Coalition to Support Sexuality Education. All of these entities promote sexual activity.

  • HIV-Focus on Testing: Sexual Health

    • This film depicts sex acts among and with minors using comic book style storytelling.

    • Contains foul and coarse language. Portrays parents as idiots.

  • HIV-Focus on Communication, only for 12th grade: Your Body. Your Rules

    • Normalizes sex among and with minors.

    • Teaches that assertiveness is good, but only if you are demanding condom use.

    • Girl says that she only has one rule for having sex: Use a condom.

  • Talking with Partners About Prevention: Just Like You Imagined?

    • Normalizes sex among and with minors.

    • Portrays normal life of a teen as chaotic.

None of the content we found in FLASH curricula teaches minors the benefits of avoiding risky sexual behavior. FLASH violates basic public health policies by normalizing sexual activity that has long-term health consequences for the general public. FLASH also undermines the authority of parents by portraying them as ignorant, out of touch with reality, and incapable to providing wise guidance to their children.

By normalizing child sex in public education, adolescents and teens are groomed to accept and engage in sex. This makes them most vulnerable to pedophiles, sex traffickers, and pornographers. Georgia is conducting state sponsored sexual exploitation of minors and no one seems to care.

Georgia now owns your children, their education, their faith, and their future. Under the guise of Sexual Rights, your children are now sex slaves to the state.

So-called War on Women

Mary S. McLellan, M.S., SRAS ~

No, we don’t punish women who have had or will have abortions. We never have.

That is why Pregnancy Care Centers should be supported. They care for the woman and the baby, and stay connected for as long as necessary. Women, who decide to carry their babies, find out how amazingly strong and beautiful they really are.

And, they are grateful for life-affirming options.

The real problem with abortion is it fails women. The entire Reproductive Rights Movement tells women they cannot control their own bodies. If they are not sexually active, use contraception, and have abortions then they are just not as valuable, independent, and free as a man.

The real War on Women creates victims, increases dependence on welfare, and enslaves women and their children to more and more so-called reproductive health services.

That is not freedom.

“Tell Them” the Truth

Mary S. McLellan, MS, SRAS ~

Alway, tell the truth.TellThemSC and the Sexual Rights Network are fighting the Personhood Act of South Carolina. Like similar personhood legislation across the nation, it states that life begins at fertilization (conception) and should be protected. Not only does this legislation jeopardize the right to abortion, it exposes some contraception drugs and devices as abortifacients.

The Sexual Rights Agenda markets contraception as the ideal way to enjoy sex without the worry of pregnancies, and therefore abortions. Nothing could be further from the truth. Many women get pregnant using contraception. When that happens, women and men feel betrayed and are more likely to seek an abortion.

After all, they were taught in school that they have a “right to sex” without consequences!

We still live in a cause and effect universe. There are always consequences for our actions. Since many women still get pregnant on contraception, abortifacient contraception drugs and devices were developed that would not just prevent conception, but abort the fertilized egg if conception occurred. This kind of abortion is ideal because it is hidden from public scrutiny, undocumented, and convenient.

How was the public deceived into accepting abortifacient contraception? Progressively. Over the decades, the Sexual Rights Network redefined terms like “contraception”, “conception,” “personhood,” and “pregnancy.” Rather than recognize new life at the time of fertilization (conception), abortion advocates redefined “pregnancy” as implantation of the fertilized egg in the lining of the uterus. This allows five to six days after conception to destroy the human embryo before pregnancy is established.

The Personhood Act of South Carolina shines the light of truth on abortifacient contraception. If life is legally protected at conception, then any potentially life-ending drugs or devices will also be illegal.

TellThemSC admits that “emergency contraception, hormonal birth control pills and other methods of birth control…can prevent a fertilized egg from implanting in the uterus.” Read their statement:

“”Personhood” legislation would grant constitutional rights for fertilized eggs at the “moment of fertilization,” before pregnancy has occurred. This type of legislation is so broad, it would outlaw emergency contraception, hormonal birth control pills and other methods of birth control because they can prevent a fertilized egg from implanting in the uterus.”

The Obamacare Contraception Mandate, currently before the Supreme Court, brought the debate over abortifacient contraception to a national level. Religious organizations opposed to abortion are forced under Obamacare to provide, not just contraception, but abortifacient contraception to their employees through contracts and/or agreements with insurance companies. This makes them complicit, thus violating their religion.

TellThemSC knows that abortifacient contraception destroys human life. They just don’t care. They, along with other SexPerts and abortion zealots, will continue to promote abortions at any and all stages of development. Their goal is sex without boundaries.

But, for those of us who do not support abortion and have been duped into thinking that all contraception prevents conception, it does matter. A lot.

We did not know, because the truth was censored. We believed the lie.

Now, let the truth speak. Lives depend on it.

When did Sex Ed become Porn?

Mary S. McLellan, M.S., SRAS –

Best Full NCSE_ExposeSeamlessConnections_600_2-9 (1)The New York Times’ opinion piece by Peggy Orenstein, entitled When Did Porn Become Sex Ed?, is a shameless promotion of her new book Girls and Sex. While pretending disdain for porn’s influence on our youth, Orenstein promotes Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) as the solution to porn.

Yet, much of CSE is porn under the guise of so-called “safe sex.”

Orenstein’s article labels youth, especially girls, as victims of the evil right-wing establishment that denies them the right to pleasurable sex. She continues by ridiculing sexual restraint, mocking parents, and of course demonizing abstinence education.

True to Alinsky, she tells teens and college students exactly what they want to hear. That their sexual exploits are justified because “the system” has failed them. Any consequences they may suffer are not their fault!

The author whines on…

So she had turned to pornography. “There’s a lot of problems with porn,” she wrote. “But it is kind of nice to be able to use it to gain some knowledge of sex.”

And while we are more often telling children that both parties must agree unequivocally to a sexual encounter, we still tend to avoid the biggest taboo of all: women’s capacity for and entitlement to sexual pleasure.””

Really? The real question should be…

When did Sex Ed become Porn?

CSE is Sexual Rights Education supported by staunch pro-abortion advocates. Since the late 80’s, these SexPerts have used federally funded Sex Ed programs to direct minors to the pleasures of sex. Much of the content is medically inaccurate and definitely not age appropriate. You can find out more by reading ExposeSexEdNow and by going to Stop the War on Children.

Decades ago the purpose of “sex ed” was to teach puberty, male and female reproduction, and the consequences of sex outside of marriage. Thanks to Kinsey, Planned Parenthood, SIECUS, and the Sexual Rights Agenda, the purpose of Sex Ed today is to teach kids how to reach orgasm with multiple life-time partners.

CSE is taxpayer funded porn addiction. Porn creates neural pathways in the brain demanding more and worse porn to be satisfied. Porn has always been used to expose youth to the pleasures of sex. This is not new. It targets kids during their most vulnerable years, before their bodies and brains are mature. It is the ideal way to create addicts.

The timing of this NYTimes article is also deliberate. Currently, many state legislators are debating changes to their Sex Ed Laws. Sexual Rights Groups are mandating CSE-only for all public schools. Some even want to eliminate parental consent.

By promoting CSE, Peggy Orenstein exposes her bias towards promoting sexual liberties, even for legal minors who cannot consent to sex. She wants more porn, not less porn, for your child. And, she wants it mandated so that optimal sexual health messages, like sexual restraint, will be censored.

If CSE is mandated in your state and/or in your school district get your children out. Your tax money is indoctrinating them to believe the lie that the consequences of sexual freedom are worth the pleasures. However, sexual freedom often leads to sexual slavery.

Find out more about CSE and ask the right questions.

Public Health Crisis: Porn in Sex Ed

Mary S. McLellan, M.S., SRAS ~

endsexualexploitation cycle diagramUtah legislators have connected the dots between porn in our culture and porn content in many taxpayer funded Comprehensive Sex Ed programs (CSE). This week, they had the audacity to pass a resolution (75-0) that pornography is a public health crisis. The resolution is ready for the Governor to sign. Earlier in the session the legislature defeated a bill to expand Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE). Someone is seeing the connections, at least in Utah!

What is porn? There are more sophisticated legal definitions, but porn is essentially any sexually stimulating visual, audible, or written content that promotes sex-without-boundaries. In too many CSE curricula, sex-without-boundaries is taught as normal and expected, while the healthiest boundaries for sexual activity are censored. Boundaries such as abstaining from all sexual activity outside of marriage, regardless of sexual orientation, are not mentioned.

When couples are bonded to each other for life, as in a healthy marriage, there is the expectation of goodwill towards each other and any children they may raise together.

ExposeSexEdNow exposes CSE that encourages students to explore their sexuality regardless of health risks or life-long consequences. Even for minors, who are legally incapable of consenting to sex, so-called “consent” is taught as the only requirement for sexual activity. Some CSE contains “how-to sex lessons” so that students as young as 11 years old can “have pleasurable and safe sexual experiences.” Under the guise of pregnancy and STD prevention some CSE teach the “skills” to make condoms, dental dams, and lots of lube “fun and pleasurable.”

Some CSE curricula introduce and/or reinforce sexual activity as healthy behavior. Yet, adolescent brain research clearly shows that sexually stimulating information during adolescence and teen years is neurologically dangerous and can lead to porn addiction.

The average age for porn addiction in both boys and girls is 12 years old!

Pornography is dangerous both in its use and abuse of women and children. Alfred Kinsey used porn sex to abuse babies, toddlers and children for so-called “scientific research.” Kinsey’s fraudulent “research” has been debunked, but continues to produce an industry of “credentialed” SexPerts, who are hell bent on mandating their hedonistic ideology throughout our government, schools and churches.

Any means of sexual exploitation should be prosecuted by our legal systems, but it is not. The 2016 Dirty Dozen list of top contributors of porn reveals rampant disregard for our children.

  • The US Department of Justice “refuses to enforce existing federal obscenity laws!”
    • “From the time Obama took office in 2008, no enforcement actions against illegal obscenity have been initiated by DOJ, and in 2011 former Attorney General Eric Holder dismantled the Obscenity Prosecution Task Force.”
    • Peddlers of obscenity and porn have had a green light from the feds for over 7 years! Add to that the millions of dollars funded to CSE and it is no wonder that the Sexual Rights Agenda is targeting our children at warp speed.
    • Nearly all states exempt primary and secondary schools from Obscenity Laws. That’s right! Most primary and secondary schools cannot get into legal trouble for obscenity that would land any of us in jail.
  • Another top contributor of porn is the American Library Association.
    • The ALA steadfastly refuses to put filters on computers to prevent clients from viewing porn, even child porn. Aren’t public libraries supported with our tax money?
    • Plus, many state schools and their libraries have weak, unclear, or non-existent filtering statutes for obscenity. What about computers and iPads in your child’s school?
    • Beware letting your kids roam free in the library! Not only are libraries safe havens for pedophiles, but many libraries have sexuality resources from organizations supportive of CSE in the pre-teen and teen sections of the library.
    • Yet, these same libraries censor information about the benefits of marriage or delaying sexual activity until marriage.

Our pornified culture has crippled America. Chaotic family formation, disease, and social misery fill our streets, homes, and public school systems. It is intentional, leading generations into lives of poverty. In 2011, Greg Pfundstein’s Sex Ed Mandates and Children’s Innocence cited Reducing the Risks, a popular CSE curricula used in middle and high schools as based on ideology, not medically accurate information.

Pornography should be addressed as a public health crisis much like tobacco, alcohol and drugs. A public health approach requires a multifaceted campaign to eliminate the sources and behaviors (risks) related to porn, which in turn will greatly reduce the availability and consequences. Fifty-years ago, few thought that smoking could be drastically reduced, but is has been.

Parents, and most reasonable adults, know in their gut that something is terribly wrong. We daily hear of sexual exploitation, porn, and sexual rights demands. When the safety of our children is openly jeopardized, what can good parents do? We cannot sit still while our children are indoctrinated to think that sexual activities are normal fun entertainment. We cannot let them be groomed for “consensual sex.”

More states should follow Utah’s example and resolve to call pornography a public health crisis. We must expose and prosecute sexual exploitation, wherever it is.

SC: Planned Parenthood Admissions

Lee Bright PP South Atlantic2 ppYesterday, Planned Parenthood South Atlantic sent this email out to their South Carolina network bragging about working for seven years with public health organizations to pass legislation mandating the HPV vaccine. Planned Parenthood is angry at Sen. Lee Bright for holding up the vote on the vaccine and they are demanding action.

Indeed, the Planned Parenthood Network (includes Sexual Rights advocates) has been very involved for decades in such collaborations to control public health policies in South Carolina.

The Planned Parenthood Network has worked with federal and state agencies, nonprofits, and foundations that advocate for Sexual Rights to thwart state law. They also lobby SC legislators to mandate “safe sex-only” education in the schools and to censor optimal public health messages regarding the benefits of marriage and delaying sex until marriage, as state law requires.

So, in the spirit of transparency…we have ten questions:

  1. Who are these “public health organizations?”
  2. Were these meetings between public and private agencies opened to the public, as the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requires?
  3. Are the meetings FOIA-able, so that we can know which state agencies and employees participated? Were they taped?
  4. If state agency employees were involved, did they meet on the taxpayers dime?
  5. Do these public health organizations include the State Alliance for Adolescent Sexual Health (SAASH), housed at SC DHEC?
  6. Is Maternal and Child Health at U.S. Health and Human Services involved?
  7. What about Advocates for Youth, the lead author of the so-called and unapproved National Sexuality Education Standards? (Common Core for Sex Ed)
  8. Was SIECUS (Sexuality Information Education Council of the U.S.) involved? SIECUS is a spin-off of Planned Parenthood in charge of pushing Sexuality Education programs and curricula to school districts.
    1. Coincidentally, seven years ago SIECUS bragged in their 2009 Annual Report (page 23) about working “with colleagues and state government officials to change the state Board of Education’s policies on sex education.
    2. “Then they lied by saying…”As a result of this work, middle schools throughout the state are now required to deliver some form of sex education that addresses contraception. To be sure, this is far from perfect, but gradualism is how change comes on these issues in the state and we are working consistently and strategically to ensure that there is forward movement.” The lie is that middle schools are not required to teach contraception, but only at the approval of the local school board. This is an intimidation tactic used to strong arm school districts into teaching minors condoms-only sex ed!
  9. Did the meetings involve the SC Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, a nonprofit that trains public school teachers exclusively in Planned Parenthood/SIECUS sex programs with federal and state funding? None of their programs teach about marriage or the skills to abstain from sexual activity.
  10. Is New Morning Foundation and their social media component included as players? They will be bombard legislators next week (3.16.16) with propaganda to promote their Sexual Rights Agenda in the schools.

We appreciate Planned Parenthood’s transparency. Now everyone knows that they are behind the vicious attacks on Sen. Lee Bright and anyone else that believes in teaching students medically accurate information about HPV. Information that HPV is not caught like the common cold. That HPV is an STD spread skin-to-skin outside the protection of a condom. And, that abstaining from all sexual activity is the very best way to avoid all STDs. Tell the entire truth about what HPV is, how it is spread, and all of consequences.

Students deserve to know the medically accurate facts.

Sexual Rights Agenda: Confuse the Masses

by Mary McLellan and Robert Swain

confused-parents-doing-taxesSexual Rights Advocates claim victory for the lowest teen birth rates in decades. But, why are the rates at an all-time low? Is it really due to “safe sex” education in the schools and the push to get all girls on birth control?

Or, are teens making better decisions and refusing to engage in sex, so that they can focus on their future?

It is laughable that Sexual Rights Advocates claim responsibility for the majority of teens delaying sex! Their programs do not teach Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) skills to abstain from sex. In fact, most of their sex programs teach Sexual Risk Reduction (SRR) skills to “avoid unprotected sex” and “to enjoy the pleasures of “safe sex.”

How can teens focus on their future in such a sexually charged climate?

The goal of the Sexual Rights Agenda is to confuse the uninformed public. They do this by masking the content of most sex programs, keeping the media hype going, and demanding that hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars continue to flow in their direction.

It is true that teen pregnancy and birth rates are at their lowest in decades. Yet, the Sex Cartels demand that “more taxpayer money is needed, state laws must be changed, and more must be done, because one unplanned pregnancy is just too many.”

This false narrative convinces school districts and legislators that only SRR (“safe sex”) programs will work, because “all teens will have sex.” These programs are pushed by the Sex Cartels, including Planned Parenthood, SIECUS, LGBTQ, Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, Advocates for Youth, and the CDC.

However, if one really looks at the data a different narrative emerges. In South Carolina (SC), SRR advocates receive millions in taxpayer dollars annually to expand into more and more schools. And, they claim that they are responsible for the dramatic 68% decrease in pregnancy rates for teens (15-17) and 80% decrease for adolescents (10-14). (SC DHEC 2015)

This decline is not a phenomenon, but consistent with national trends. Plus, the CDC’s YRBS (Youth Risk Behavior Survey) for SC reveals that for almost 20-years, most sexually experienced teens have NOT used contraception. They are not practicing “safe-sex.” There has been a:

  •  26% increase (2005-2013) in teens who did not use a condom during last sexual intercourse.
  • 83% of girls did not use birth control pills to prevent pregnancy before last sexual intercourse. (UNCHANGED since 1995)
  • 97% of girls did not use an IUD before last sexual intercourse.

The SC YRBS also reveals that only 32% of high school teens were sexually active at the time of the survey. In addition, there was a:

  • 28% decrease in high school teens who have EVER had sex. (1995-2013)
  • 49% decrease in 9th grade teens who have EVER had sex. (1995-2013)
  • 30% decrease in high school teens who are sexually active. (1995-2013)

In other words, over the past 18 years:

  • Sexually active SC high school teens have not been practicing “safe-sex.” (SRR education has failed in SC for decades and  they don’t want you to know it!)
  • The majority of SC high school teens were not having sex and/or have NEVER had sex!
  • The percentage of sexually experienced high school teens has decreased steadily since 1995.

Most SC students are not duped by the “all teens are having sex, so you better protect yourself” mantras that are chanted in sex classes. Rather, smart teens embrace the SRA (abstinence) messages promoted by their parents, churches, and agencies that teach Evidence-based Abstinence Education.

Teens will live up to high standards! So, we should set high standards for them and for ourselves.

Such progress bodes well for SC, but only if the current trend continues. SRA (abstinence) should be taught as a separate component for all school age children. To omit this vital perspective from schools is censorship.

“Safe Sex” education sets our kids up for failure and it defeats the purpose of quality education.

Making Proud Choices! “I was appalled…”

By Pastor Gordon Cashwell, Without Walls Ministry

Charleston, South Carolina

Making Proud ChoicesRecently, I became aware that Charleston County School District is considering offering a sex education course called Making Proud Choices (MPC) in the schools. I am concerned about this because 2 of my 3 girls are in a public middle school, and because I work with youth in “high risk” neighborhoods.

My first contact with MPC was as a pastor. A lady from our church wanted to recruit youth to attend a YWCA MPC seminar at which they would be given $50 gift certificates. After researching and reading some excerpts from the curriculum, I was appalled and I requested that she not recruit from the church youth.

When I discovered that our local school board was considering offering this program (designed for 11-14 year olds), I had to put effort into fighting it. After reading the entire curriculum, I became even more fervent in my protest. The unedited version of MPC contains no instruction on abstinence skills, but it contains plenty of instruction on how to engage in pleasurable sex, how to purchase condoms, the joys of “safe” oral and anal sex, and the proper use of condoms, dental dams, pills, sponges, patches, rings, shots, diaphragms and more.

The question of offering MPC should not even be entertained considering that no consistent school- based studies exist which demonstrate that MPC makes a long- term positive impact. In addition, this curriculum which is posted on Planned Parenthood’s websites was tested on particular races in “at risk” neighborhoods (a racial issue if you ask me).

Most importantly, however, MPC is ILLEGAL in SC.

SC Code of Law Section 59-32-10 states that any sex education offered in public schools must emphasize the benefit and importance of abstinence until marriage, strong family and marriage life, and support the development of responsible personal values and relationships.   It is not to include instruction about sexual activity outside of marriage or practices unrelated to reproduction.

MPC breaks this law.

If you are not convinced, I would challenge you to contact the Charleston County School Board so that you can set up a time to read the original curriculum for yourself.  Here are some sample quotes from the curriculum for our middle schoolers:

  • “Girls who carry condoms are smart, responsible, proud and safe”
  • “Condoms can be fun and pleasurable if you know the skills to make them that way…. Sex can still feel great with condoms. You can also make sex fun with condoms.”
  • “Keep a supply of condoms on hand… Get used to condoms so they are natural and fun.”
  • If erection is lost… “Have partner take off condom, continue playing and stimulating one another, relax and enjoy the fun”.
  • “…do something positive and fun. Go to the store together. Buy lots of brands and colors (of condoms). Plan a special day when you can experiment. Just talking about how you’ll use the condoms can be a turn on.”

I hope this shocks you into action.

If we do not stand up for our kids, who will?

Making Proud Choices!…Still a Problem for Parents

By Debbie Jones – Charleston, South Carolina

MPC pg 87 Condoms
Revised version of Making Proud Choices! in Charleston, SC. Page 87

Making Proud Choices! is still under consideration by the Charleston County School District for middle and high school. Over the summer, a group of parents reviewed the revised Making Proud Choices! to determine if there was anything of concern contained in it.

Public protests forced the proponents of Making Proud Choices! to “sanitize” the Facilitator Manual of some content that parents found vulgar and offensive. While we are sure they did their best, the parents found that the messaging remains the same in the revised version. The DVDs, posters, activities, and student workbooks, and handouts, which will also be used, were not edited and remain the same.

The parents conclude that Making Proud Choices! is still unacceptable, and even harmful for students. It is the mindset of the authors, proponents, and teachers, who would tell these things to our children that bothers us the most.

WHO thinks that teaching sexual foreplay to adolescents and teens is a smart way to prevent pregnancies and disease?

“Abstinence” should never be taught as “avoiding unprotected sex.”

Any information about sex should stick to the facts as the SC Law instructs. Making Proud Choices! violates the Law by not teaching abstinence from all sexual activity, does not emphasize abstinence until marriage, does not teach the benefits of marriage, and does not inform students about the risks and limitations of contraception.

Following are some of the comments from parents about their findings:

  • The lessons are designed to be interactive…Imagine self-conscious adolescents and teens participating in these activities:

    • One lesson has students talking one-on-one to brainstorm endings to these kinds of sentences. “A person can make condoms less awkward by…”

    • In one lesson students have to stand under a sign that says if they agree or disagree about attitude statements such as, “Abstinence is an easy choice to make” and “It would be easy to talk about contraception with my friends including boyfriend/girlfriend.”  What kinds of message does this send to peers?

    • Students brainstorm the names of condom brands and are taught about types and flavors of condoms, including condoms designed for little boys called Easy Rider. (page 87)

    • During the condom practice demonstrations where condoms, lubrication and a penis model are provided to each student pair, the facilitator is supposed to say, “Some religions and individuals do not believe in using condoms. Your beliefs will become an important part of your decision making.” (page 86) Teen sex and how sex and reproduction are  taught is a public health issue, not just a religious issue.

    • The condom use activities break down natural inhibitions that children have at their age regarding sexual activity. Facilitator note, “There may be lots of giggling and nervous behavior. The participants will have lots of fun.” (page 90)

  • Overall, it [Making Proud Choices! revised version] still just pays lip-service to abstinence.

    • “Marriage” was only mentioned once. “At some point most people transition from abstinence to being sexually active…” [as in marriage] (page 42) This is not true. According to the CDC, most students surveyed nationally (17 and under) have not had sex. Why tell 11-17 year old students that most of their peers will have sex, except to normalize it?

    • Making Proud Choices! glorifies condom use. One scenario had a girl saying, “I’m glad you agreed to use condoms. I feel like you really care about me.” (page 178)

    • In the lesson on negotiating and refusing sex when you don’t have a condom, one acceptable response was, “Let’s go buy some condoms right now.” None of the responses considered recommitting to abstinence. (page 180)

    • It normalizes sexual behavior for young teens. The Facilitator’s guide discusses the scenario of two 14 year-olds who have been dating for a year and both want to have sex. The ultimate solution is condoms and “Safe Sex.” (page 122) Why are they not told that they are minors incapable of legally consenting to sex with anyone

    • It redefines “intimacy” as just sex. A note to the facilitator says, “Main points to cover: Other things can lead to intimacy and orgasm without risking getting pregnant or infected with an STD or HIV.” (page 124) Sex affects the whole person and should be much more than keeping the genitals safe.

    • Making Proud Choices! is just a sex program for minors and teens. It teaches how to have sex and how to have protected sex with condoms. It is not about reproduction or how to form a family within marriage. (pages 2, 4, 10, 60-66)

    • Where is the research to support the following statement? Adolescents “struggle with issues of self-esteem, and self-pride. Due to this, it is extremely important that they learn to feel good about themselves and their decision to practice safe sex.” (pages 13, 81 #10)

    • Making Proud Choices! in no way teaches teens the skills to say no to sex, only how to say no to “unprotected sex.” And, it fails to teach students that condoms are not 100% protective. Students should be reminded about this often throughout the course.

    • It fails to teach students that some STDs do not have symptoms. It states that anyone can get STDs, and that condoms are the only way to prevent the transmission of STDs. That is medically inaccurate information. What about abstinence? Students who abstain do not get STDs and several STDs are spread outside the protection of a condom. (pages 73-77)

    • Sexually active teens are not encouraged to return to an abstinent lifestyle. It is assumed that sexually active teens will continue having sex.

    • Redefines what it means to be “Proud and Responsible” within a sexual context, regardless of the values they have learned from their parents. Rationale: “The emphasis on being proud and responsible provides motivation for engaging in health-protective behavior and for encouraging others to do the same.” (page 40)

    • It teaches students to always use condoms when having vaginal, oral, and anal sex. This assumes they will have vaginal, oral and anal sex. Adolescents are concrete in their thinking and take instruction at face value. Therefore, this is not age appropriate. It also normalizes all types of sexual acts.

    • Students are not taught that infatuation and/or sexual activity can affect their judgment. Yet, during the condom lessons they are told, “Refrain from using alcohol or other drugs because they affect your judgment.” (page 92)

    • In the lesson on Risk Behaviors for HIV, students are taught Green Light, Yellow Light, and Red Light activities. The lesson is about HIV transmission, but is that what teens will remember? The immaturity and impulsiveness of adolescents and teens is not considered when labeling sexual behaviors as Yellow Lights. Many teens will take the challenge, take the hit, and might think that these activities are what they can “get away with.” Yellow Light activities are:

      • “Touching your partner’s body parts”

      • “Vaginal sex using a condom”

      • “Oral sex on a female using a dental dam or condom” and

      • “Having sex with only one partner using a condom.” (page 108)

  • In the activity “Condoms are the Proud and Responsible Thing to Do!” students are told that:

    • “If you use condoms, it will be easier to reach your goals and dreams” “You will feel better about yourself (higher self-esteem)” and “You can do more for your family and community.” (page 150) Where is the research to support this?

    • Students are also told that “Condoms don’t have to be embarrassing if…You have a supply of them ready to use.” (page 150-153)

    • This lesson is one that was “cleaned up” by the proponents. It use to be called, “How To Make Condoms Fun and Pleasurable!” The verbiage about how condoms can be used as a method of foreplay, sexual fantasy, sexy/sensual, teasing, hiding condoms on your body, and how condoms make erections last longer have been removed. The intent of the revised lesson is the same.

  • None of the material as presented in the videos is age appropriate in my estimation. There seemed to be a nominal suggestion of abstinence, and then immediate reference back to the use of condoms. There was nothing about abstinence until marriage.

    • One of the DVDs to be shown in class describes how to use condoms during sex, by talking about the female’s role, sexual arousal, rolling condom on, intercourse, orgasm, holding onto the rim, removing the condom and relaxation. Videos (visual images) will be remembered longer than words.

    • Another DVD called “Nicole’s Choice” was difficult for me to watch. The video opens and closes with scenes of heavy foreplay and intercourse. There is talk about having unprotected sex. Nicole now wants her partner to use a condom. Another scene shows Nicole at a doctor visit. The doctor talks about STDs, including HPV, prior to the exam. Nicole finds out that she has an STD from a previous boyfriend. Her girlfriend shuns her only to find out that she, too, had sex with that same boy and is infected as well. There is talk about how condoms can be fun by using different kinds of condoms. Abstinence is mentioned at the end, but there seems to be laughing and mocking about it. Then more talk about the pleasures of condoms, putting them on, lubricating, etc. Contracting an STD is no longer the problem. The problem to be solved becomes making sex with condoms fun, so that they will be used. If HPV is the STD contracted, nothing is said about HPV being transmitted skin-to-skin outside of the protection of a condom. Condoms do not make sex 100% safe.

    • A DVD called “Wrap It Up” Teen Condom Use…” revolves around a boy not wanting to use a condom. He says he will protect his partner by “pulling out.” His partner encourages him salaciously by talking about types, colors, flavors of condoms, putting them on, etc. There really is no talk about abstinence as to what it really is, the healthiest choice, but is spoken of by the girl as a THREAT, if the condom is not used. This was terribly disturbing to me.

The revised version of Making Proud Choices! is still unacceptable. It sends unhealthy, even dangerous messages to adolescents and teens about the appropriateness of sexual activity at their age and outside of marriage.

Making Proud Choices! omits “medically accurate information” about the risks and side effects of hormonal contraception and the limitations of condoms. It censors healthy messages such as abstinence and marriage, and promotes sensuality. It teaches immature students how to reach orgasm by using condoms, as part of STD prevention, and it gives students false assurances that if they use condoms, they will have a happy future. Where is the research to support that?

If academic achievement is the goal of our schools, how can students learn anything when the school and students’ minds are saturated with sexual information?

If this concerns you, as it did the parents who spent hours reviewing the revised edition of Making Proud Choices!, contact your School Board Trustees. Consider sending these comments to the Trustees.

Our children deserve better.

Charleston, SC: Bogus CRISIS! in Teen Pregnancy

Sexual Rights Advocates claim the victory for the lowest teen pregnancy rates in decades. They even claim responsibility for the majority of teens choosing to abstain from sex, yet none of their programs promote sexual abstinence or teach the skills to do so.

In order to keep the media hype going and millions of taxpayer dollars flowing in their direction, these teen sex advocates must claim victory where there is none. They use these bogus claims to convince school districts that all teens will have sex so that they will adopt their Planned Parenthood Sex Programs, exclusively, for middle and high school students.

Teen pregnancy rates have been trending downward for well over two decades. In SC, abstinence-until-marriage education was first funded in 1996 under Welfare Reform. Until then, condoms-only programs were the norm, resulting in skyrocketing teen pregnancy rates. Since 1996, pregnancy rates for teens (15-17) and adolescents (10-14) have dramatically decreased by 60% and 80%, respectively.

Heritage Keepers® is the predominant Abstinence-Until-Marriage Education program used in South Carolina schools over the past two decades. It is the only abstinence-until-marriage program in the nation listed by U.S. HHS as an Evidence-Based Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program.(2012) This list of 35 programs is used by school districts to select sex education programs for their students.

Independent evaluation of Heritage Keepers® in SC public schools reveals that a year after the program, Heritage Keepers® students initiated sexual activity at a rate that is 67% lower than non-program students.

This evaluation included 2,215 sexually experienced and inexperienced students in 7th, 8th, and 9th grade, with 63% of the students African-American.

Heritage Keepers® was shown to be effective across age, gender, and race.

These are amazing behavioral outcomes in the science of teen pregnancy prevention.

In Charleston County, Heritage Keepers® is the only Abstinence-Until-Marriage Education program approved for the public schools, while “safe sex” condom programs are also on the list. When Heritage Keepers® Certified Educators arrive on campus, the sexual climate of the entire school changes.

Students choosing to abstain feel validated, and those contemplating a return to abstinence are empowered to follow through on their goals.

Pregnancy rates in Charleston have declined even more dramatically than the state, with pregnancy rates for teens (15-17) and adolescents (10-14) decreasing by 72% and 90%, respectively.

So, is contraception use driving down pregnancy rates? Not according to the most recent CDC Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) for SC released in 2014.

According to the YRBS, only 32% of SC high school teens were currently sexually active at the time of the survey. That means that almost 70% of high school teens in SC were not having sex! Who knew?

The survey also showed that there was a:

  • 26% increase (2005-2013) in teens who DID NOT USE a condom during last sexual intercourse.
  • 80% of girls DID NOT USE birth control pills to prevent pregnancy before last sexual intercourse. (UNCHANGED since 1995), and
  • 95% of girls DID NOT USE an IUD before last sexual intercourse.

The YRBS further reveals that between 1995 and 2013 more teens abstained from sexual activity. There was a:

  • 28% decrease in high school teens who have EVER had sex.
  • 49% decrease in 9th grade teens who have EVER had sex.
  • 46% decrease in 4 or more life time partners.
  • 30% decrease in high school teens who are sexually active.

Clearly, contraception is not the only reason that pregnancy rates have decreased, since their use has flat lined. The facts show that sexually active teens are not increasing contraception use! And, more teens are abstaining from sex.

Since “safe sex” condom programs used in SC do not teach teens how to abstain from sexual activity or teach about the benefits of abstinence and marriage, how can they take credit for any increases in abstinent behaviors?

They can’t, but they do!

The complicit media will not report the good news from the YRBS, because it does not fit the Sexual Rights narrative. They continue the drum beat demanding that abstinence-until-marriage education programs have failed and must be kicked out of schools in favor of Planned Parenthood Sex Programs.

Don’t believe the hype about a teen pregnancy crisis in need of the Planned Parenthood solution.

It is only a distraction to hide the Sexual Rights Agenda, which has nothing to do with health. It has everything to do with recruiting adolescents and teens into a sexual lifestyle that benefits their business model.

It’s all about the money.

Sex Ed Racists and Bigots

People raised with strong beliefs about certain classes of people, faiths, income or education levels, intelligence, lifestyles, knowledge or ideologies, find it difficult to tolerate other beliefs. Neural pathways develop during early years making it easier to think, accept and act based on their own perspectives.

Unless something dramatic happens in their lives, this is their world and life view.

Many Black and White parents in the South taught their children “to not judge others by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” Thanks to Dr. King, we saw results from those efforts in Charleston, SC after the tragic slaughter of nine faith leaders at Mother Emanuel AME Church. Much of Charleston’s response was based on looking beyond color to the content of character and understanding that it is the inside of a person that causes evil, not the outside.

Racism and bigotry are learned behaviors.

There is another, more insidious type of racism and bigotry doing great harm to all people and their families. That is the bigotry of low expectations, especially regarding sexual behavior. Planned Parenthood, SIECUS, and other Sexual Rights Bigots have targeted children for over 30 years through Comprehensive Health Education. These racists and bigots have specifically targeted Black, and other minority, children by using them to “test” sex programs and then by herding them into those sex programs through public schools.

For decades, these sex programs have taught that most kids their age are having sex, which is a lie, and that they have a right to experience sexual pleasures regardless of the consequences. (Kinsey Sex) As a result, millions suffer and are enslaved to a Master – the Government.

No one escapes this enslavement. Either you are forced to pay for welfare entitlements with your taxes or you must subsist on them. Many do both. Unless new generations learn the life-script for success and self-sufficiency, there will be nothing, but further social decline for our children and grandchildren.

There is simply not enough money in the world to support a welfare system that has more dependents than those paying into it.

Change is not easy. The majority of adults – who have never known a day without birth control, abortion, and STDs and have no idea how to form healthy relationships or make marriages work – are raising children to do the same. Not only are their brains wired, their children’s teachers, also groomed, normalize sex acts as entertainment. Sex is just sex. They cannot imagine a world where sex is meant for life-long marriage, intimacy, and procreation or where healthy married families thrive.

Their world is a complex mix of chaotic families, single parents, divorce, STDs, abortion, infertility, porn, sex trafficking, lack of job skills, poverty, domestic and sexual abuse, life-long dependency on welfare, depression and addictions, and more and more indulgence in sex acts as entertainment to escape their dire reality.

Many so-called “safe sex” programs do not teach children about puberty, conception, or reproduction. And, none teach your child about abstinence until marriage or about the benefits of marriage. They use pregnancy and STD prevention to teach sex acts (tricks), grooming the masses for self-destruction.

The proven, ideal life-script for centuries has been censored in public schools for decades. The benefits of marriage and delaying sex until marriage are barred topics from health and sex classes. Even now that Same Sex Marriage has been legalized in the U.S., these subjects are censored! (This proves that much of the Same Sex Marriage Movement is/was about sexual freedoms, not about so-called equal rights or about family.) Students are not taught how sex leads to pregnancies and babies, and therefore when pregnancies occur, they demand that the baby be eliminated. “I didn’t sign up for this! All I wanted was great sex!” Cohabitation and hook-ups are presented as normal, expected, healthy lifestyle choices, regardless of the impact on children.

There is institutional racism and bigotry within our government and academic bureaucracies to transform all people into sexually dependent minions. This is a bi-partisan issue! Both Republican and Democrat leaders have promoted this agenda in our schools and state agencies since the early 60’s. Federal funding will only pay for the implementation of Planned Parenthood Sex Programs in school districts, eliminating quality Evidence-based Abstinence Until Marriage Education programs from consideration. As a result, Sexperts teach vulnerable adolescents and teens how to perform “fun and pleasurable” sex acts to fit the Planned Parenthood/Sexual Rights narrative that “all teens will have sex,” thus leading them down the dark path towards chaos and welfare dependency.

These racists and bigots discriminate against entire classes of people, based on race, gender, and religion, to push their new world order. They target the most vulnerable when their brains are experiencing rapid growth.

The only solution is for parents to take responsibility for teaching their own children about sex, reproduction, and marriage.

Parents need to opt out (Sample from Defend the Family or write your own) of all classes or programs teaching sexual information and/or that refuse to teach about delaying all sexual activity until marriage, and the benefits of marriage. If the schools will not allow you to sit in on all of the sex classes for your child and allow you to view all DVDs, workbooks, and teacher manuals of a sex program, then we recommend that you opt out. Please, do not blindly turn your child over to the state. You have options.

Parents and their kids can sign up for Evidence-based classes in the community. And, faith leaders can be trained to teach science-based, medically accurate lessons consistent with their faith.

Tell your schools to teach Johnny and Susie to read, write and do math, and leave the sex information to you, the parents!

Feds and Planned Parenthood Connection

IMG_0157Did you know that Heritage Keepers is approved for all schools in Texas and Mississippi? It is the only Abstinence Until Marriage Education program in the nation that is on the U.S. HHS list of Evidence-Based Teen Pregnancy Prevention Programs.

However, the Feds will only fund the implementation of Planned Parenthood Sex Programs through Comprehensive Health Education. If a school district wants Heritage Keepers, or any other abstinence until marriage program, they have to pay for it themselves.

Poor school districts can never afford that.

That’s how Planned Parenthood Sex Programs saturate public schools and gets into your teen’s heart and mind. They are “free.”
It is also how quality programs are eliminated and put out of business. Don’t let Planned Parenthood and the Feds pick the winners and losers for your vulnerable child.

The internet is full of so-called “safe sex.”  But, abstinence and marriage is censored in America’s schools.

Ask for Heritage Keepers in your schools. It’s on the U.S. HHS list that you pay for with your taxes!

Pro-Life? Choose Heritage Keepers® Abstinence Education!

Are you pro-life? Are you one of the millions praying about, and protesting the devastating impacts of abortion and the destruction of millions of innocent children and families by Roe v Wade over the past forty years?

Are you supporting and working in your local Pregnancy Care Centers to give women the option to choose life rather than abortion?

We are glad you are out there. We need you, more than ever, to help save our nation and stop the carnage.

The sheeple of America have been lead down the path of “sexual freedom” for so long that they do not recognize real freedom anymore.

For too long, the consequences of sex outside of marriage have enslaved generations to believe that multiple sexual partners, hook-ups, abortion, STDs, hormonal birth control, cohabitation-not-marriage, adultery, divorce, dysfunctional relationships, unrelated family members, domestic violence, child abuse, sexual abuse, illiterate and unskilled workers, generational poverty, and unstoppable entitlements are just normal and the best that we can ever expect out of life is Chaotic Family Formation.

To make matters worse, prevailing solutions for all of these social ills is to push more and more of the same in order to justify the insanity we all endure. More and more Safe Sex programs that lead more and more generations to experience the same enslavement as their parents.

That way, no one feels left out, guilty, or weird.

As pro-life advocates, we know that there is a much better way to live our lives. And, Pregnancy Care Centers help young women and their partners every day to make life affirming decisions, not only for their children, but for their own futures.

But, what about children who are now just entering puberty and will face similar life changing decisions? Many of them will be parents in just a few years!

How can we help them avoid the risky behaviors that the Planned Parenthood/SIECUS and Obamacare Networks are pushing them towards and that have been institutionalized for them in our schools?

While pro-life efforts are successfully defeating Planned Parenthood on local and state levels, we must also support efforts to teach children about:

Healthy Family Formation; abstinence from sexual activity until marriage and fidelity within marriage. We must teach children the character-based life skills they need to restore the Life Script that science and experience have proven, over and over, works for a successful life.

Delay sex until marriage, get an education, get a good job and become self-sufficient, establish a healthy, faithful marriage, and then have and raise children within marriage.

Pass it down, generation to generation.

This is the Life Script that was promoted by social service agencies for decades, and then dropped out of fear that it would offend someone. It is the Life Script that is ordained by God, has worked for centuries, and that built America.

So, why do so many organizations in the Planned Parenthood/SIECUS Network, seek to dismantle the proven Life Script in order to destroy their children’s future?

Are they trying to destroy humanity around the world from within?

What behaviors are taught to persuade our youth to choose temporary sexual fun and pleasure, and ultimately destruction, over a successful, fulfilling family life?

Pro-life efforts must promote life and liberty for all age groups, including our adolescents, teens and young adults. They are in danger of becoming sexually active and forced to make unnecessary decisions about birth control, pregnancies, and disease. Decisions that can wait until they are fully mature and ready for a life-long marriage, if they follow the Life Script.

Abstinence-until Marriage and Fidelity-within-Marriage is the only way to teach our children the Life Script. There are many good programs available, but Heritage Keepers® is the only one – so far – that has made it to the list of Evidence-based Teen Pregnancy Prevention programs sanctioned by the Federal government.

This is important because now there is at least one program out of 31 on the US HHS list that is truly pro-family, pro-abstinence, pro-marriage, and promotes the Life Script. Heritage Keepers®, is the science-based Abstinence Education program developed by Heritage Community Services (Heritage).

Heritage is a “spin-off” of the Lowcountry Pregnancy Center. Both organizations, based in Charleston, SC were founded by Anne Badgley, a visionary and pro-family advocate. After ten years of building the Lowcountry Pregnancy Center, Badgley decided that teens needed to hear compelling, science-based reasons to abstain from sexual activity until marriage and pursue healthy marriages.

Now, almost twenty-years after starting Heritage, Heritage Keepers® is the first and only abstinence-until-marriage program to be nationally recognized by the Federal government.

A year after the program, students initiated sexual activity at a rate that is 67% lower than students not receiving the program.

Heritage Keepers® is  proven effective and until 2 years ago was not listed on the US HHS website of evidence-based Teen Pregnancy Prevention Programs. This is “the list” of programs that school districts refer to when looking for an evidence-based program for your children.

What happened 2 years ago? Research and evaluations convinced US HHS that Heritage Keepers® should be added to the list and they “cracked the Holy Grail!” Now, it is the only program on the list that is truly abstinence-until-marriage.

Heritage Keepers® is not ashamed to teach the benefits of abstinence and the benefits of marriage to teens.

All of the other programs that are being funded with your tax money, may claim to be “abstinence-only” or “abstinence-based” but are either abstinence-until-you-don’t-want-to-anymore or blatantly safe sex/sexual foreplay programs promoted by the Planned Parenthood Network. They also, may not teach marriage, at all.

Seriously, consider Heritage Keepers® for your community, school district, or pregnancy center! Shouldn’t every adolescent, teen, young adult and singles get a strong compelling abstinence-until-marriage education program before they hear anything else?

How else will they know about healthy family formation, rather than so-called planned parenthood or family planning?

Think and act holistically about the fight to end abortion. We need to engage teens before they have sex, get pregnant or even get to the point of considering abortion. Remember those on the front lines teaching kids that abstinence until marriage is the best reproductive sexual health message.

Promote abstinence-until-marriage education as the best way for youth to rebel against the establishment (Planned Parenthood/SIECUS/Obamacare) and seek success by following the proven Life Script.

Without quality, evidence-based abstinence education in your schools and community, future generations are doomed to repeat the errors of the past fifty years.  CHAOS.

Real Sex Ed Debate: “Contraception” is Sexual Foreplay

Stop_SignYear 2014 will usher in new Sex Ed Laws in many states, requiring that “contraception” be taught in middle and high school. But, is it “contraception” or sexual foreplay?

Most mandated Sex Ed today reads more like steamy sex therapy sessions than teen pregnancy and STD prevention education. Under the guise of “safe sex,” many curricula teach that as long as condoms are used, consensual sex is the “new standard” for sexual activity, not marriage.

Sex Ed curricula, such as Making A Difference!, Making Proud Choices!, Be Proud! Be Responsible!, Safer Choices, Teen Outreach Program (TOP), Wise Guys! and others can be found on the Planned Parenthood and SIECUS websites. They have very little verbiage, if any, about the benefits of abstaining from sexual activity and do not mention marriage as the ideal context for sexual activity.

Consensual sex is the “new norm.”

These curricula teach students how to engage in “safe” sexual foreplay including oral sex and intercourse, how to experience the pleasures of sex, and about ways to eroticize sex, all while purportedly teaching condom skills to prevent STD transmission.

Sex, and more sex, is the goal and “safety” is the Trojan Horse.

The problem is, sex outside of marriage can never be as safe as sex within a healthy, faithful marriage. This vital message is being censored from our teens.

The current Sex Ed debate is no longer about whether to teach Abstinence or Contraception. It is about whether to explain about methods of “contraception” or to teach “hands on” sexual foreplay skills under the guise of “contraception” education.

Unlike Abstinence-until-Marriage education, so-called “Safer Sex” programs are not strictly regulated by the federal government. They are given free rein to teach anything they can get away with.

“Safer Sex” programs are designed to make teens feel “proud,” “responsible,” and more comfortable about having consensual sex as long as they use condoms or dental dams. But, are “Safe Sex” programs safe? Unfortunately, many STDs, such as HPV, Herpes, and Syphilis are transmitted outside of the “protection” of condoms and dental dams. And, since condoms cannot be used unless the male is sexually stimulated, it is reasonable to think that there is a lot of skin-to-skin (STD transmission) contact prior to using a condom or dental dam.

Do “Safe Sex” programs delay sex initiation, as they claim? Under the influence of sexual stimulation, it is counter intuitive to expect sex to be delayed and for condoms to be used correctly and consistently even by adults, much less impulsive teens.

The most respected researcher in the field of teen sexual activity is Stan Weed, PhD of the Institute for Research and Evaluation. Weed’s report on Teen Pregnancy Prevention programs in 2010 revealed that very few “Safe Sex” condom programs were effective at increasing abstinence or condom use for any length of time. In “Federally Funded Teen Pregnancy Prevention Programs: Not What They Claim to Be.”, Weed states that out of 28 programs approved in 2010,

“Only 2 TPP [Teen Pregnancy Prevention] programs demonstrated the ability to increase adolescents’ rate of consistent condom use for at least one year. Neither was a school-based program.”

Weed’s critique also calls out these TPP programs for their sexually explicit content, teaching “safe” alternative sexual behaviors (sexual foreplay), and that “Abstaining from sex is not a primary focus in the majority of TPP programs.”

Parents and elected officials need to study the Sex Ed Laws of their state, as well as all Sex Ed curricula approved under that Law. Afterwards, they may want to provide their own reading lessons for Legislators and School Board members.

In preparation, consider the following questions and decide whether instruction is being required or if, by default, “Safe(r) Sex” is allowed to slip in through the loopholes.

1.  Does your state’s Sex Ed Law include verbiage requiring the teaching of  “contraception” and/or “Safer Sex” for middle and high schools?

  • Does the Law define “contraception” or is “contraception” used broadly to include “birth control” hormones (Plan B, Emergency Contraception) and devices (Emergency IUDs) along with referrals to Planned Parenthood/Family Planning Clinics?
  • Does the Law define “Safe(r) Sex?”
  • Does the Law require that approved Sex Ed programs fulfill the Pregnancy Prevention Education and Reproductive Education requirements to be used in the schools? Programs like Making a Difference! and Making Proud Choices! do not fulfill all requirements of most state laws for Pregnancy Prevention or Reproductive Education, therefore other programs must be supplemented.

2. Does your Sex Ed Law include any verbiage requiring the teaching of sexual foreplay techniques including the use of dental dams for oral sex, eroticizing condom use with lubricants and detailed instructions for regaining erections? If not, is there any language to prevent such teaching?

3. Does your Sex Ed Law include any verbiage requiring teachers to use visual imagery or sexual fantasies to help students pretend they are somewhere else, or the opposite gender, or with someone else while engaging in sexual activity? Wouldn’t this require a license to practice psychotherapy in the classroom?

4. Does your Sex Ed Law require that abstinence until marriage be taught as the standard for all school age students? Does it loosely define abstinence, which allows “safe sex” curricula to claim that they are  abstinence-based or abstinence-first? If marriage is omitted as a cultural norm from the Law and also from the approved Sex Ed curricula, then there are no boundaries for sexual activity.

5. Who is in charge of making sure that all approved Sex Ed curricula comply with the state Sex Ed Law? Unaccountable bureaucrats?

6. Are there any approved Sex Ed curricula that have “Safe(r) Sex” in their title, on their cover, or part of their content? THIS IS A RED FLAG!

7. Are all approved Sex Ed curricula used in the schools the original evidence-based version evaluated for program effectiveness and listed on the US HHS website? Or, are they “adaptations” of the approved curricula, in order to gain approval?

8. What are the behavioral outcomes for each approved Sex Ed curriculum used in your state?

  • Is each approved Sex Ed curriculum listed on the US HHS website as being proven effective and evidence-based for Teen Pregnancy Prevention?
    • If the curriculum is an abstinence-until-marriage program, does it significantly increase abstinent behaviors among participants, compared with non-program participants, as measured a year after the program?
    • If the curriculum is an abstinence-based “safer sex” program, does it significantly increase abstinent behaviors among participants, compared with non-program participants, as measured a year after the program?
    • If the curriculum is a “Safe Sex” condom program, does it significantly increase correct and consistent condom use for sexually active students, compared with sexually active non-program participants, as measured a year after the program?

9. Who trains the educators to teach approved Sex Ed curricula in your state?

10. Are there any abstinence-until-marriage curricula approved in your state/district that are listed on the US HHS website as being proven effective and evidence-based for Teen Pregnancy Prevention? If not, why not?

Getting answers to all of these questions will provide a much clearer picture of the sexual climate in your school, school district and state. Our schools should be promoting behaviors that are conducive to learning and achieving academic success. If this is not the case, then much work needs to be done quickly to protect children from sexual influences that can derail their futures.

Get busy!

Robot Baby Dolls: “I hate babies?”

Robot babies

Have you ever questioned the use of baby dolls or baby simulators in Sex Ed programs to show teens how much responsibility a baby can be?

After all, many teens either want to have babies or they don’t. Some teens have told us that the “baby dolls” made them hate babies. What if this Sex Ed method is just a sneaky way for the Sexual Rights Groups to predispose teens to abortion, if they do get pregnant?

What impact is there on sexual activity or pregnancies?  We have never seen any data in the US to support this type of Sex Ed. In fact, the last published review – way back in 2011 – showed there was minimal effect on all measures in programs using the baby robots.

Now the media is a buzz reporting about a study out of Australia showing there is evidence that robot babies actually INCREASED pregnancies among the 3000 students studied.  The Lancet, Efficacy of infant simulator programmes to prevent teenage pregnancy: a school-based cluster randomised controlled trail in Western Australia, revealed that

“8 percent of girls who used the dolls had at least one birth, compared to only 4 percent of the girls in the other group. The researchers also found 9 percent of the girls who used the dolls had abortions, compared to 6 percent of the control group. After adjustment for potential confounders, the intervention group was 36 percent more likely to become pregnant than the control group.”

Watch the Wall Street Journal’s video here…

“These dolls are used in school- and community-based teen pregnancy prevention programs in 89 countries. This includes 67 percent of US school districts, according to Realityworks, which makes and sells the simulators.”

At $300 per baby doll, that is a lucrative way to spend our taxpayer dollars! To what end?

Pregnancies and abortions were both higher in the baby robot program group than the controls. We understand that many teens really want to have babies, but what about the increase in abortions?

It seems that more teens in the baby robot Sex Ed classes do develop negative feelings about babies and parenthood. Susan Grant, the director of a Seattle project said that “The majority of the time students took the doll home, they would come back with phrases like ‘I’m not ready for this,’ or ‘I didn’t have any idea of what parenting was about,’ ” she said. “I think they saw the impact that the responsibility has on their own life.”

So, making teens feel disgusted with the idea of babies and responsibilities of parenthood might increase the likelihood of a teen aborting their baby. Who knew?

And, what about the impact on sexual activity?

Well, that is not the point. Sexual Rights Groups don’t care if teens have sex, they just don’t want those babies to mess things up!
